Ciao Darlings

Ciao Darlings,
My name is Anonyma.
Pleasure to mee all of you!

About me:
I used to go go out to many Goth/New Wave/Fetisch clubs,
Did some go-go dancing (I used to design my own cyber-punk
clothes), DJ-ed, and did a number of typical puberty type activities like:
being in pictures in old goth mag, being a make-up artist, etc, etc..
Eventually got into making music, did silly things such as opened for
Gene Loves Jezebel's live show playing in my ex-boyfriend's band, LOL
etc, etc.
In late 90's I started my own music project (synthpop-type tarx
that were released by a couple of labels in Germany and followed up
with releases in Italy, USA, Greece, Spain, Japan, etc)
I stopped going out because I got very bored:
since DJ-ing and performing live became almost like a job! LOL
I have witnessed many fazes of "goth" and felt quite removed
from it as I was occupied with making music productions, touring,
designing cloths. I'm quite shocked with the whole CULTURAL APPROPRIATION of skulls, and other things in the MainStream Culture
I wonder if there are any others that feel the same way about
the phenomenon of Cultural Appropriation, which seems to take the
meaning and power out of sub-cultures or anything Avant-garde!

Also curious if there any fans of old-school electronic sound (that
bordered on New wave and Minimal Electronik)...Like early 80's XYMOX,
Xmal Deutschlandetc, Krisma, etc, etc,

Would be glad to meet new frinds who enjoy making DIY clothes,
those who enjoy oldschool soundz (from Bowie to SPK
to Iatlain Synthetic dance music).
Feel free to send me an e-mail.

BIG KISSES,
Anonyma
P.S. Sorry for my bad english..I've lived in USA for
quite some years, but somehow I still make mistakes
in spelling and grammar ;(

Let's try this one more time, following the guide lines, LOL

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
-I don't like to work, Don't want to offend anyone by being classit, but work is not for me!
I do have many hobbies, such as:
designing clothes, make-up art ( I used to do make up for fashion shoots, but it was usually too early in the morning, although I enjoyed doing make-up for Debbie of Blondie for an HR Giger-inspired video that we did for fetsch club, Years ago!)
Oh, as for work I'm a musician/starlet/pin-up, I guess it could be called work...(You can find my music in many places from I-tunes and FashinTV France, Universal compilations to limited very underground releases).

2. Where are you from?
-grew up in Eastern Europe, Baltic Sea,
Western Europe, But Live in USA/NYC

3. Who is your favorite author?
Many...

4. What are your favorite films?
Anything by Almodovar,
Liquid Sky, B-movies,
most movies with Jane B.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I did get married not long ago (private ceremony)
As for music I love electronic body music from
Continental Europe (mostly futuristic sounz,
anything from: EastWall to Alexander robotnik)

6. At your funeral?
A mix of elegant classics and eurotrash Schlager tunes

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
-Rich, famous, before I get old (naturally),
using mostly opiates, perhaps some uppers as well...

8. What kind of casket would you want?
-Designed by Karim Rashid (he offers a fantastic designer casket)...

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My taste changes often, but I do love anything inspired by Soviet Constructivist Art, I also love plastic...used in that 70's post-punk fashion... Love vintage BOY London, Westwood/SEX, Body-map....
Very 80's wave...

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Looking even more like jail bate, LOL

11. What's your favorite band?
Many perhaps:
Sun-La-Shan, Krisma, Gay Cat Park, Clan of XYMOX, etc...

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
-I keep this info private, as I like playing a bimbo, LOL

13. Why did you join?
- To figure out what new haircut to have for press photos,
and to see if there are any kids here that enjoy old-school
Minimal Wave, etc.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
-F.

15. Obviously, you are free to share other interesting or pertinant information, but we thought it would be nice to give you some guidelines for the basics.
- I'm often bored, I live in NYC, I love travelling, but I dislike airplane rides! People often give me gifts (deep inside afraid that I would throw them away), but I actually value friendships, and even postcards put a smile on my face. I love designing clothes, I love fine artis, people say that I'm a great singer and musician. I met many of my fave. bands, I did introduce Siouxsie to J.T. so she would do the interview for Propaganda Magazine. Debbie Harry attended my live show in NYC... By mistake I insulted David Byrne (of Talking Heads) in the hotel elevator when he came to hear me DJ, lol! I'm a cunt but I can be a nice person if you play nice! I know thousands of people, but my best friends live on other continents....
Anything else that you are curious about feel free to ask!
Most likely I'll tell (as long as it's not private info such as my bank accounts, LOL!

-Indeed, Electrosexual (the boy from France) runs the record label.
They are expecting an amazingly dark but electronic dance release this Autumn, the album will be called END OF THE WORLD.

Eurotrash, you seem like such a colorful and interesting character! I can't wait to get to know you better :]
-Thanks, love. Perhaps too colourful, I have been trying to tone down for the last 10 years, but it's hard when you can easyly pass for a teenager.
It's like the prtrait of Dorian... At times I wish I could be more mature, but life always works out in certain ways creating more adventures on my plate, then I can handle...
Where are do you live?
I'm in NYC....
What musik do you listen to? Fave bands?

Yay.

I love NYC and would totally move there if I could manage to get my hands on a green card. Or I could be an illegal immigrant and wash dishes... whatever works.
