I think if we all make an effort to not sound quite as condescending when we disagree with one another, we might actually start changing each other's opinions and broadening viewpoints rather than simply making everyone defensive and fuming. Jeezy Creezy.
It's not everyone and it's not all the time, but there is a distinct air of superiority fogging up the forums.

They are arbitrary... there is an Incan village that was constructed perfectly in concordance with nature... with proportion and not numbers. There is no base single unit of measurement, just a point of reference and then angles and circles with the lines of the sun.

I disagree. I've changed people's opinions before. It's possible - just difficult. In some cases, reeeaaaally difficult. However, it's worth trying as opposed to sitting around and slinging insults at each other and getting no where at all, yes?

I'm not really whining about anyone or any instance in particular - it's just a vibe I get from this place. In nearly every thread where there's any kind of "hot" discussion, there's those holier than thou attitudes that just...seem more prevalent here than any other message board I've been on before. o_o
