YOUR sweet Vampire Kiss.

YOUR sweet Vampire Kiss.

From the Shadows you rise,
rise to the night
Oh what a sweet vision,
oh, what a delight.
I enter your spell,
I no longer fight...
I'm forever lost,
lost in your dark light.

For your blood I crave,
my soul i can no longer save
Can I seek comfort in thy Heart?
My body screams of fire,
my soul burns of flames.
I hunger with desire,
a mere blood shed in your vain.

My sweet vampire,
you are my knight,
bring me your nothingness,
embrace me into this nightmare,
take me as your own,
for i shall never be alone.
As crimson the sky becomes,
into the night you awaken.

Are you real?

Could have I been mistaken?

NO!

That cannot be,
for your poison burn inside of me.
Like a snake…you hiss,
but i would still adore...
YOU sweet Vampire Kiss.

This poem achieved what any gothic poem should, instilling in even the most dauntless reader a profound and paralyzing terror- the terror that results from the knowledge that there exist people so impossibly stupid as to produce this work and believe it to be a coherent piece of literary art.
From the sporadically present rhyme scheme to the marked lack of the devices which constitute poetic finesse to the banal subject matter, I was awed.

And to the little darkling using large words, A large vocabulary does NOT constitute intelligence.

At all.

You'd do well to mark those words.

You don't have to be intelligent to percieve the problems with this poem.

Words alone don't, but the use to which they're put to does.

Perhaps so; but damn, does it make flaming fun to read.
