I don't love it, but it's alright. I have a friend who likes it and I can tolerate it when he wants to watch it. It's not a painful tolerance, though.
It was kind of funny, when I first heard Sailor Uranus yell, "Uranus World Shaking!!" I thought she said, "Uranus Wild Turkey!!"

Damn dubs.
I'm with you on the Sailor Moon love though Miss Ophelia. I used to watch it religiously as a small girl. (4pm on weekdays) Ami was my favourite. She was smart, and she had blue hair. Kick-ass.

Oh my gosh I fucking love Sailor Moon! Ever since I was a kid way back in 1st grade was when I started watching it. My favorite sailor was always the outer senshi. Uranus, Neptune, Saturn, and Pluto. The Violin Medley by Vanessa Mae is one of my favorite soundtrack from Sailor Moon. You'll also love the Sad Sailor Saturn theme. It's sooo cute! >.< I have Neptunes exact same haircut except it's blonde. :P If you like Neptunes color SFX Fish Bowl is similar to it. Oh ma gee! I probably sound all queer. I never got to watch all the movies though... I wish they would air it again, too bad they canceled it. My favorite episode is Neptune's Death.

One of my favorites has always been Hotaru. There was something about her sense of vulnerability that just kept me engrossed. Perhaps it was the idea that her powers existed as a monstrocity over which her human self succumbed without a sense of control. It's the same reason I used to be engrossed by characters such as Melfina (sp?) in Outlaw Star, and Marimeya (sp?) in the Gundam movie, Endless Waltz. I used to consider myself a fan of Sailor Pluto's mystique, but gradually I find myself leaning towards Sailor Neptune.

Oh yeah...did I mention I have a black cat named Luna?
I have a white cat, too, but my mother didn't like the name Artemis.
Seriously, I'm the biggest SMgeek on the planet.

I was lucky enough to have a friend that bought the original unfiltered version of SM from Japan. I was surprised how much more depth the story line had. I was able to see the series up to Super Sailor Moon.

What?! IT WOULD NEVER BE OK!! It was just Americanized crap! ONE WAS IN A FLYING WHEELCHAIR!!!
I mean, why would they consider using it when they have a perfectly perfect and wonderful Sailor Moon already?

I agree it was a funny as hell poor attempt, and would never succeed, but the animation was ok in my opinion. Not the concept, trailer, or actors, but from an animation perspective, it was ok. As I said, it was ruined by the intertwined real action scenes, those were so bad they were hilarious! But yes, there is only ONE Sailor Moon! And one meatball head.

Sailor Moon was one of the first anime I ever saw. Sure I've been critisized for liking it but as I always say, "You don't know what you are missing." to those critics.
My favorite was always Sailor Jupiter. XD! Rock on Mako-chan!

I love Sailor Moon. I was bullied when I started secondary school because I liked it...But anyways, they only played the show on cable in the UK so I only managed to watch the first episode because I got a video of it free when I brought loads of Sailor Moon dolls. I did read the manga though. But I've watched up to the end of the series with the Black Moon series.
My favourite character is Chibi Usa, but I really like the Amazon Quartetto too.

I saw the first season of Sailor Moon and loved it, which was way back when. LOL.
The second season wasn't that great and I stopped watching it and then they eventually stopped playing it.
But if it came on again then I would watch it.

I hate the Americanized version of it where they edited episodes and stuff to make it a more kiddy show. The Japanese original is the best. I watched it with subtitles on youtube before and it's so much better. Sailor Jupiter was my favorite.
