Parents. Part 2
My mother allowed me a hour on the computer because I've been "good". Which strikes me because I've been acting like I do all the time. I'm just not on the computer as much. Here's all the happened because what I'm going to say after that is going to be complete BS.
You already know what happened on the computer bit. What actually got me grounded was when I was told to get into my room, her boyfriend followed me in there, completly defeating the purpose of the reason why he sent me in there. Well, my mother waddle in after him and they both started yelling at me at the same time. I could understand them and I pointed that out. I suppose I was, again, being a smartass and her boyfriend raised his hand at me as if he was going to hit me. I told him that if he dares lay a hand on me, I will call the police on him. He cannot hit as he didn't have a right to and the fact that he is not a legal parent of mine. Well, that really hit the sweet spot with him and he grab me around me arms. Yelling, "Get out of my house" over and over. It wasn't he's house in the first place, it's my mother's. Well, he threw me into the wall, thus I hit the corner of it with the head. I slapped him across the face while he was throwing me out a self defense. After I had fallen to the ground he continued beating on me. Later he left out of anger and I suppose my mother was afraid that he wasn't going to come back and that is why I am grounded right now. Out of shear fear that her fuck partner wasn't going to come back on fuck her anymore. I should add that that they did indeed fuck that night. Well, the next day I noticed that I had seperate bruises on my arms and a lump on my head. I was going to leave it alone because I didn't want to start a argument again. Well, a couple days later, my mother found out that I told my boyfriend what had happened and she accused me of making her seem horriable and that she was a bad mother. Which I was only telling her the truth. My boyfriend even questioned her on teh whole situation and he could tell she was full of shit. Well, she yelling and there is some more yelling and then she said that you will not slap him like that ever again because I didn't do it out of self defense. That's were I got angry and chip into the conversation, showing her the bruises and saying that I was indeed acting out of natural responses. She told me that she didn't care about the bruises and that she got some too, which wasn't likely because she wasn't even involded in the beating. Which has made me very angry.
Here's the part that is BS. She is going to make me agree to have a counseling session with my psychologist so she can tell him what has happened. Which is going to be some screwed up version of what happened completly making her and her boyfriend look innocent and me the crimanal. As what is always done. I hope that my psychologist is smart enough to see past her bullshit.
Anyways, I'm done complaining now. I was hoping that I would never have to write in this section....

Damn, I'm sorry, but I don't know what to say, other than Good Luck... I really hope you get justice. I do know what it feels like to have adults ignore me and brush me off as a whiney teenage bitch who was inventing things, but...
Yeah, good luck *hug*

TAKE PICTURES OF THE BRUISES AND LUMP.
Seriously. Start documenting everything. Get a small tape recorder and try to record any fights that involve physical threats/abuse. Write down dates, times, and details somewhere (preferably online in a private journal or someplace where you can access it online and it can't be easily deleted/destroyed). If you can collect enough solid evidence, you can call the Dept. of Social Services and they will open an investigation and perhaps allow you to get a restraining order against your mother's boyfriend. They can also force her to take parenting courses and otherwise monitor the situation so that she doesn't get away with it.
Your psychologist is also obligated to report abuse to the authorities, and if she doesn't do so then you know she does not practice professional ethics appropriate for her field.

Mmm, I don't think trying to fool a psychologist is the smartest idea I have ever heard.
I agree with LadyLucretia, document everything the they wont have a leg to stand on. I'm sure a psychologist will be able to see through this.
Good luck, you'll be okay.

Kudos to your dealing with this shit, and I'm not 100%, but can't you request a private session? Abuse is something they have to report. I don't know. Good luck, and god speed.

I am totally in agreement with Lucretia and HaggardDoll. I worked for a friend who ran a domestic abuse center, and it was the most important piece of advice he could give anyone in an abusive relationship.
Domestic abuse is an easily hidden crime, so document everything. If you do not feel like your photos will be safely hidden at home, keep them on a photo bucket account, and try to hide them anyways.
If anything, your mother's desire to take you to a psychologist could largely backfire on her; you are very much in the right here, and you should ensure that it happens, since I could mean a great deal to your personal safety.

I'm in agreement with everyone here. Document it, if you don't want feel that your evidence is safe at your house, put it online, or give it to someone you trust.
The idea of your mother trying to lie to a psychiatrist is vaguelly amusing. They are usually very good at detecting bullshit.
Your mother's boyfriend is lower than the crap under my fridge. My best wishes and good luck.

I'm sorry to hear about this, Miss Cogs. I've had to deal with some violent outbursts from my father (he drinks heavily), so I know all-too-well what you're going through. However, my little encounters were never to such a profound degree. I believe the worst that had been done to me was being smacked around with a big metal buckle on a leather belt about nine or ten times before my mom intervened and got him to stop.
You can pull through it! People like that only get away with so much for so long, and it's only a matter of time before karma decides to bite them in the ass.
I believe I see that coming if your mother's truly silly enough to try and lie to a psychologist.
In other words, from what I see, she's digging her own grave.

Thank you everyone for the advice and your concerns. My boyfriend was going to give me a camera though, but I just got too tired of all her bullshit that I just said to him that I don't want to take the pictures anymore. When I showed her the bruises and she didn't care, that's when I didn't want to take the pictures. I regret it now. the bruises are still on my arm, but they are barely there now. I have been documenting things since yesterday. I figured that it would be useful to do that for now on.
