Daily Digest - A Band a Day
Well I figured it would be neat to do this... How about we start with a random band, of any genre and give our opinions of it? Seems like a good way to learn about new music, and share our likes and dislikes. Anyway, I'll start it off.
I'll start it off with one of my favorite artists, I know he's fairly new but he's been the first artist in a while that I've actually liked alot, and can respect his talent:

Album - Life in Cartoon Motion
Personally, I love Mika's music. His ability to cover so many types of singing really astounds me. How he can sound like Freddy Mercury and the next song he sounds like the Beatles. I really respect this groups talent.
If anyone has actually sat and tried to listen to the lyrics, which some of the time can be very hard, the lyrics to his songs are very powerful even when he's trying to be quirky. In the album Life in Cartoon Motion, he touches on a lot of issues, ranging from a husband having an affair on his wife with a man, to letting big women know it's alright to be big.
I recommend listening to some of his music. Even if you're not into that genre, it is definitely worth checking out. For those who appreciate talent in music, this will not disappoint.
