What is your motto?
Mine is: If life gives you lemons, squish them into pulp and throw them at people. But I have another, Suicide is like telling god, "you can't fire me, because I quit!". I made up the lemon one, but not the suicide one.

"Smoov and Son Concrete Inc.: More than just shoes!"
I'll expound on the Shill board.

I don't quite get what it means, but it sounds funny. Is it supposed to be?

Concrete shoes is where (usually the mob or other n'farious group) sinks your feet in concrete, allows it to dry and then drops you off into the nearest large body of water where you take a nap with the fish.

Thanks for telling me that. But I still don't get what Smoov's motto is supposed to mean. Oh well.

As of late, it seems to be "Love is the law. Love under will."

You sick freak, my son and I simply make orthopedic shoes out of concrete. We're a legitimate business, and we're just thinking about broadening our business to other objects as well. Freaking weirdo.

Wait, you've got a son? OMG! You treat me terribly and call others sick freaks, so I'd hate to see how you would treat your son!

I haven't really thought about it too much.
I suppose it would be something like:
"The past grief you have experienced will always be imprinted onto your personality and will never leave you. Don't dwell on the past for your present will suffer for it and harm your future. Instead of spilling your tears, suck it up and move on."
It has worked for me before. However, once you start revealing feelings of what happened in the past, it can be a bitch! :P

Mine are sort of like
Don't be ashamed of anything that is a part of you, even if to most it is a negative quality
It's not really poetic but it works. For example when people say I am a bitch it doesn't hurt me, because it is SORT of true and I am not ashamed of anything that is me.
I have to make it sound cooler though.

My motto would have to be:
Nothing's impossible for the one who has people to do it for him.
Or:
Don't fear death. Live life, embrace death.
(neither of them poetic but..)
Oh and:
Don't take Smoov seriously for he begs us not to.
:P

You say potato and I say vodka.
In other words, who gives a shit if we disagree? In the end, it doesn't matter. I'll just probably be drunk at the time.

To quote a Voltaire t-shirt:
"I'm so dark I fart bats."
And a Kurt Vonnegut quote (god I miss him):
"What is the purpose of life?"
To be
the eyes
and ears
and conscience
of the Creator of the Universe,
you fool.

DANGER: DO NOT ENTER merely means, 'proceed at your own risk, we're not paying the doctor bill'.

I know, none of can help but to do that, but for me its more helpful if I suck it up and try to move on. I suppose you should try to focus on something happy and go from there.
Other than that I think that time is a wonderful healer. It gives you the power to momentarily forget when you totally disregard it.
I know that this year, I am more focused on universities and things like that to care about what happened. It's actually helpful for me not to tell people how I feel.
But hey, if you ever feel upset you can talk to me if you like.

Hmmm...
"A champion is someone who gets up when he can't." Jack Dempsey
Or..."The credit belongs to the man who is actually in the arena- Whose face is marred by dust and sweat and blood; who strives valiantly; who errs and falls short again and again... For if he fails, he fails while daring greatly, so that his place shall never be with those cold and timid souls who no neither victory nor defeat."

When it's on Federal/military property, I guess it could be modified to say: DANGER: DO NOT ENTER merely means, 'proceed at your own risk, we'll make sure you won't need a doctor'.

Life is a shit sandwich. Unfortunately, it's always lunchtime. How much bread you have goes a long way toward determining how easy it is to swallow.
