Let's talk about R.Z. Halloween

Rob Zombie's Halloween. If any of you seen it, what was your favorite part?
The funnest parts, to me, are when Little Michael is getting ready to go trick-or-treating and he's telling his sister "Judith, I'm gonna be laaate". It's so funny. Then later on when he's at the mental hospital and he's talking with his psychologist, he's got this microphone on the table and he tells little Michael to "Say something in it"(to make sure it works) and he says "Hi,.. I'm Michael Myers" in a raspy voice, It's so cute.

I thought it was crap, and an abomination compared to the original one.

Or is that what you were asking?

I'm a very big John Carpenter fan. Not just Halloween, but The Fog, Escape from New York, The Thing, Christine, Big Trouble in Little China, They Live, etc. Halloween was the prototype of the mainstream slasher film. It manages to scare the wits out of me to this day. That being said; I thought that Zombie's adaptation was different, but good nonetheless. Certainly not as good as the original, but it managed to lively up the background story a bit. And also gave a bit of realism (a bit, I said) to the concept as a whole. All in all, I gave it a B-.

I'll give it all that.. but I thought it was just unnecessary to make when you get down to it.

Best part of the movie:
Ken Foree as Big Joe Grizzly!

In my opinion, any movie with Sid Haig or Ken Foree is a masterpiece.
