O_o wow, someone actually got that done? I would get that done if I didn't value my hands as much! I wouldn't be able to draw if some thing happened to my hands...

I was at a tattoo/body mod parlor a little while ago, and they were offering these.

It seems extremely impractical, unlike other pericings this one can cause serious problems. For one thing it gets in the way of the hand's basic functions. For another if you were fall forward and your claws broke your fall they could perhaps be shoved right out the opposite side of the hand leaving a not too pleasant trio of scars and perhaps some debilitating damage, or worse yet an upward force applied ripping straight through the skin doing god knows what. Besides Wolverine had four claws per hand not three.

Actually, it's always been three on each hand. The only mutant who has four per hand is Ultimate Sabertooth in the non-mainstream Marvel universe Ultimate X-Men title.

They're piercings that are fun for play piercing, it did say they were only temporary. So hopefully, the guy is aware of the risks.

Wolverines' are better - HE has Adamantium (sp?) claws.

But actually, I liked the kitty-cat-claws girl from X-men 2 - it'd be interesting if they could do that to someone...

*winces*

I would only want those under the condition that they were -exactly- like Logan's...i. e., retractable!

Oh, god, that looks horrible! Why in hell would anyone do such a thing? Especially considering that it's temporary.

Nice, but REALLY impractical. How do you hold anything with your hands like that?

It can't be worthwhile if they aren't retractable. Each blade must be a big, shiny, albeit temporary pain in the ass.

Some people have too much time and too much money, a dangerous combination.

Ouch. As wolverine himself said in X-1 (a mediocre movie at best, due to lack of certain characters [Gambit] and mistakes on the personalities of others [Rogue]) "[it hurts] every time." And from the looks of that pic, it does.

Wolverines claws were actually bone. They were covered in admantium. After his fight with Magneto (the one that led Xaviar to kill him), Wolverine had the metal sucked out of his body (kinky). He still had his claws, they were just bone.

Um.. surface piercings = rejection. Not to mention infection, and no, I didn't intend for that to rhyme.
Why would you spend money on something that temporary and impractical?

Wait until Maggot sees those.. heh..
