Nosferatu

The silent one.

Does anybody else share my love for this movie? I don't know what it is about it, but it's flipping awesome.

Count Orlok deserves some lovin'.

Yes. The thing that I like about the silent one is that it's just that: silent. The "soundtrack" it comes with are just creepy as hell in some way. I love it. *got it on DVD*

I was going to watch it with something from my collection playing in the background, but, ah....
tv-links.co.uk (the site I watch television and movies on) got pulled, they're trying to find something to arrest the guy for that won't mean they also have to charge Google and Yahoo and YouTube under piracy laws.
Going to watch it properly, some day. Thinking it'd be a good one to put on projector at a horror-cabaret I'm running.

It's a wonderful film! Whenever I watch it I have cheesy "silent movie piano music" running through my head, so I normally end up giggling :S

It is beautifully shot - I love the sequence where Count Orlock's shadow reaches up and grabs [insert female character's name]'s breast, and she reacts.

I never tire of seeing Nosferatu

Well, the movie is ok. But the best thing about it, is of course Max Schrecks vampire. I donīt think anyone can create a "better" looking creature, even nowdays. Silent movies has a certain feeling, which makes them fun to watch. Most people donīt like them and I understand why, many are just crap, but "The Phantom of the Opera" and "The Cabinet of Dr. Caligari" are pretty good.

Also like "Shadow of the Vampire", about the filming of "Nosferatu", but guess itīs a love or hate movie.

The movie is public domain.. I don't know how they could get in trouble for it.

http://www.bmovies.com/movie_page.php/132

there's a link to it. There's many other movies on that website, as well. (Including kung fu!)

Sick movie. I'm a fan.

Anyone happen to enjoy the 1979 remake? Excellent modern expressionist film.

I like the movie, and I like the music.

I don't really like how it was a blatant rip off of Dracula, though.

I find it to be a tad overrated these days, but it's still a good film.

It's doubly awesome when you set it to Blue Oyster Cult's "Nosferatu".

I love both films, but I have to say that I prefer the 1922 version.

And, I daresay, my enjoyment of the 1979 film was severely augmented by the fact that it was our 14th consecutive Dracula-esque film.

And also that I was flopping on you quite a bit.
