Anyone here tried Orange Eye shadow?
Just wondering? I'm not sure what eye-color orange shadow would go best with?
My eyes are hazel and I know copper/golds, dark purples, dark red or pink really bring out the green in hazel eyes but I'm not sure how orange would look?

tone the orange down with a bit of bronze and never do the mistake of putting eyeliner with just orange or you'll wind up looking like a sorry excuse for a Halloween mascot. Anyways, it depends on the shade of orange you're using.

Don't ever use blatantly orange eye shadow. You'll look like Great-Aunt Judy kissed both of your eyelids with her hip 80's lipstick. I also think you should maybe mix it with some bronze, and line your eyes with brown.

I've done orange a few times but it was a kind of peachy orange and I used a fantastic blue eyeliner with it. I really liked the look but then I lost that eyeliner and I haven't been able to find a good replacement (it matched my eyes so well and that company discontinued the color *sadness*)

I've also got hazel-green eyes and orange shadow looked pretty good on me-as long as it's not matte!!! You need a little shimmer/sparkle so you don't look like Xombie posted previously.

I wear full blown orange frequently. Only when I'm wearing orange though.
I usually apply it thickly on my lid and then line the socket with smoky black eyeshadow and blend the two into each other. For eyeliner I use black eyeshadow but a very thin layer applied with a thin brush and then blended out a bit.
Orange is one of those color's Id never dream of wearing, until my friend gave me this really cool orange cyberdog tee a while ago.

Funny. I use an orange-ish brown shadow. I have hazel eyes as well, it actually looks quite good with that color and makes them look more green. What I do is I apply the eyeshadow, then line the bottom of my eye with a dark brown liner and the top with black. Then I finish with copious amounts of black mascara. I go past my eye with the top liner, but you know...that's optional.

In terms of looking a shade of orange, I do have a metallic copper eyeshadow that looks really good with my eyes I think. It also looks good with just black liner on the top lid, and white liner at the inner corner of the lower lid . I do sometime add a touch of bronze to the crease of the lid and outer corner to darken the look for evening if I'm going out.

I say wear it.
If you like the way it looks, wear it! If you hate it, don't.
If people tease you, just keep wearing it. Maybe it'll become a trend!
(unless they start throwing rotten oranges at you...that stuff smells)
