Ankle boots or knee high boots?
I saw this girl dressed in the gothic ****** style with ankle boots. It aded to the "old fashioned" look, but I think her friend's knee high boots looked cooler. Ankle boots bother me.

Oh, I'm not. I don't wear boots at all anymore. I was just wondering what others thought.

Agreed. I only own a few pairs though, and I don't wear them anymore.

Combat boots are always great. Especially when you leave them a bit baggy at the tops.

As such I am not yet able to wear knee length boots, but I LOVE them. I really dislike ankle boots rather a lot.

I like either knee-high boots or the ones that come up half way. Ankle boots are OK but I prefer the other two I just mentioned.

knee high if I can find a good pair that go over my calves, ankle boots if I'm in a big hurry.

I have a sweet pair of ankle boots with a 3 inch heel that lace up the front, then have a metal buckle that goes around the top part of them (where my ankle is). Best part--I got them brand new from a thrift store for 8 bones.
I prefer the ankle boots with pants or long skirts, and my knee high boots with short skirts/short shorts.

My question is, what about thigh-high boots?
[Also, I realized this morning that knee-high's are better for walking through a briar and hole-littered grass field. Too easy to break your foot in ankle highs...]

What's wrong with ankle boots? I have a pair of gorgeous Victorian lace-up ankle boots, and I absolutely love them. Both kinds of boots can look good, it just depends what you're wearing them with.

Oh, I don't know about thigh-highs... There are so few people those look good on, not to mention that they're only good for parties and such.

I do prefer knee high boots 80% of the time.
I do have some adorable victorian ankle high boots though...but they only go with a select number of things.

Hmm, that's a good point.
I'm still looking for a good sturdy pair of knee-high's myself; I think I'm going to have to find an army surplus store to find the ones I want.
Or just break down and buy men's boots. :/

Knee boots are an obsession of mine.
Seriously, I can see the ugliest chick ever but if she's got high heeled knee boots on I'm guaranteed to get a hardon.

Don't be, there's no need. I'm not offended - easy mistake to make, for mine is a rare and delicate beauty. XD
