Idiot jesus was talking most likely to the barbarian goths, you can be christian and goth at the same time. I for example am Catholic, if anything god likes people who wear mostly black, look at priests, and the Jewish.

I myself am both Christian, and a lover of Goth music and fashion, which is all Goth is really.

I think Goth is about how you feel inside.
It shouldn't be about music or fashion style. That means you are doing it for all the wrong reasons. Its about how you feel and how you want to feel dude...dont get led down plastic goth street and checked in to wannabe hotel man.

Granted, it's being attracted to a certain aesthetic because of things already inside you, but the media first used the term in relation to fans of bands like the Bauhaus and the Sisters of Mercy, if I'm correct.

Goth is so much more than the music and fashion. Its about scaring old ladies and getting drunk and killing and eating badgers and sometimes wearing your mam lipstick whilst masturbating.
