Hello, well this is me!
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
Art, Karate (yes), Ballroom dance, Thearte Arts, Playing my guitar, Piano, saxophone (In Band)
2. Where are you from?
United States.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Brian Jaques (I love those books of his)
4. What are your favorite films?
Sin City, The Crow, lord of the rings (any horror)
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Romance- By my chemical romance. (Its such a sweet song, and no worries if you think Mcr sucks, you can't hear Gerard's voice, no drums, just a very nice acoustic guitar.)
6. At your funeral?
I don't really Know, I wouldn't want my relatives and friends breaking down right in church.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Peaceful in my sleep.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
Pearl Ivory White Casket.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
A short tube top with a pink bow sewed to it with a long black skirt that goes past my ankles.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I still AM a little kid! (15 years old) But when I was five,...I miss, not having to do so much homework and being able to do nothing and just having fun.
11. What's your favorite band?
Lacuna coil
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Highschool Freshman, somewhere in forensic science.
13. Why did you join?
Vampire freaks to me "Lables" too many things, other than that, Posers calling other people posers. I don't believe in Posing, but,...*sigh*
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female,....
Well, those are the questions, Now about me! ^^
Well My name is Ariel, and yes before any weird conclusion I am a black goth. I never really "Fit in" whether it be hanging out with the weirdos, gangsters, preps, etc. I don't even think I would fit into a lable, or social class. Yes, being goth to some media-istic fat head seems weird enough to them, but how about a Black goth? I have dealt with this many of a time, but for me, If I was pale, I would not be as uniuqe as I am right now, I like being "Uniuqe" I would never want to be like this girl,..or that girl, I wouldn't want to be just like you or anyone else, I think everyone should follow that example. And then, everyone seems to think that this average black girl like me, should be stupid, inconsiderate, "ghetto", whore, stripper, or anything else that is presented in the media, Thats also why I only listen to "good" music, etc (Music that does not discriminate black people, black women, or in that matter, ANYONE (white, red, yellow, green) , being a pimp, and whore, is a discrace, I would end the song I'm in luv with a stripper for this world's humanity)
But going into the gothic lifestlye has really hit a note in me. I guess you could say I just,.."switched it" a year ago. When I looked into the mirror, I would see a very stubborn girl who was just trying to "fit in" and be some-one she is not. Besides, with me as a goth, I have expressed myself a whole lot more, instead of being smashed inside of a pink box.
I hope you find my thoughts interesting, anyway, Nice to meet you all, :]

Welcome, I like that you actually told something extra apart from the questions. That seems like a rare thing... anyway...

Yeah that's what I see a lot in any subculture. Others are never 'goth', 'urban', ghetto', 'punk', '[insert silly label here]' enough according to the tr00 ones...
And I can imagine that it's pretty strange to others that you are a black goth, because, and I don't want to generalise, the 'black community' (if there is one) is mainly focused on rap/hiphop/reggea/R&B and the image that goes with that. It's good you sort of restrain from that...
hm... again, welcome!

Hello and Welcome, Kari! I like you already.
Romance by MCR is lovely, and Gerard's voice isn't that bad.
See you around the boards.

Meh, can't stand the all too predictable Redwall books anymore, but other than that, coolness.
WELCOME INDEED.

I love Brian Jaques, I get lost in his books for hours.
What type of saxophone do you play? I play the tenor personally. It's a beautiful instrument
Welcome. I eagerly await you contributions
