Lostdreams Introduction

Hello everyone. As you can see, I'm new here and to the Goth world. Any Advice and tips are welcome.

1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I write poetry, draw, and sing.
I'm also my brother's keeper.

2. Where are you from?
Florida...Florida..and more Florida

3. Who is your favorite author?
Author Conan Doyle (long ago), Bram Stroker, Edgar Allen Poe....

4. What are your favorite films?
I don't really have any. I never get the chance to watch anything.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
I don't want a wedding.....but if i have to...something really weird sounding that would drive my mom crazy.

6. At your funeral?
Into The West (the song at the end of the last Lord of the rings movie)

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
I want to be stabed, but I want it to be quick and bloody.
Very bloody.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
A shiney black shoulder casket with blood red lining and a little black pillow. I've wanted one like that sence I was a little kid.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My shiney black skirt with my bright red and black tank-top, black boots, and my velvet black jacket.

10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
I'm still a teen...sorta...umm.....not getting blamed for everything bad that happens.

11. What's your favorite band?
Way too many to name......not all of them are goth.

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Middle School but I should be in High School. I want to work behind stage doing make up for bloody or scarey movies. Or acting on the stage in a sad, depressing play.

13. Why did you join?
To meet more gothic people. No one around here is goth. I'm alone (not that I haven't been before...)

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Well that's it. Oh! I've had one poem published in a book of 30 poems when I was 13. I also can't spell very well but I have good grammer and will always correct you if you say something wrong. Sorry. (apologizing in advace. It's a habit I can't get rid of...)[/font]

Hey and welcome!

What book was your poem published in and what was the poem called? I would love to read it - and congrats on being published at such a young age!

Welcome! It's great to have another poet and artist here. What kinds of stuff do you draw? And how long have you been drawing?

Thanks. I've been drawing sence I was 3 (12 years). I draw a lot of word art and dream worlds. I also draw a lot of JTHM. I've always been a fan of Jhonen Vasquez (please don't make fun of me).

The colon ":" followed by a close-bracket ")" will create a happy face. Colon and open-bracket "(" is sad face and a colon ":" and "p" will give you a silly face. Winking face is semi-colon ";" and close-bracket ")"

Very cool...I've been an artist for more years than I care to disclose...but it's always great to come across another artist. For some reason, I can't seem to find many near where I live.

Dude-- who would make fun of you for that?! If anyone tries, I'm wearing stompy boots... I'll stomp their face in.

Welcome.

Fuckers... I highly recommend getting some stompy boots. When you're wearing stompy boots, people are much less likely to mess with you.

When I was in high school, there were certain articles of clothing that I wore specifically to alienate certain people. I often felt ostracized, so I made the conscious decision to dress in such a fashion that people avoided me. If they were avoiding me, if they were scared of me, that meant they weren't harassing me, making fun of me, or tripping me in the halls.

It's a good way to live. I highly recommend it.

Mine were $17 at the Goodwill, but I doubt you'll find that same deal. Definitely check Ebay-- if they're a good brand, they'll be fine used.
