Um. . . Maybe you should go into more detail about your answers. They seem really half-assed, and already I feel a grudge toward you.

Good, I think... I feel kinda blankish so if there's anything specific you want to know, ask.

Franken, the Comp/Tia A+ certification impresses me. I'm currently in a prep class for it, as I intend to be a computer technician once I'm out of high school.
Maybe you could help me? :O
(I'm already pretty much the head of the class, though. :P)
Also, your sig is in hex! Which is pretty cool.
"I watch it all go away"...heh

She is quite precocious, isn't she? And we love her. Particularly because she speaks her mind.
No favorite authors? Not even of computer books? (Like Ruth Goldberg?)
Maybe take a look at the Literature forum, and read some of the stories and poetry there. Give it a try, who knows, you may like some of it.
Welcome.

Humane, NO.
David Groth is the best computer manual author.
He writes the A+ stuff.
The people ahead of me are a kid who studies really hard, and one kid who just happens to know more about computers than me. :P
The best part is that I'm ahead of the seniors, who are completely full of themselves, and think they're better than everyone else. HAW.

I was an only child with no relatives, dad left when I was 5... And subsequently shot himself on mother's day 2003. Well, working backwards, I was a bouncer for 10 years before I started doing computer stuff full time. During that time I was taking care of my mother (The woman is a living nightmare and always has been) who was wheelchair bound and diagnosed terminal with COPD and heart failure. She fought me every inch of the way, just to be a martyr. After a lifetime of secrets and lies (and a trail of ruined relationships) I put that all behind me and no longer speak to her... I've been a bass player since I was 14. I play like a cross between Flea and Ghengis Khan... I've been told I beat my bass like it owes me money. I'm friendly and mellow and have been reading the posts here for quite some time until I decided to open my virtual mouth yesterday
Hi everyone

That's your business. If that's your choice, I won't begrudge you it, but I will tell you that I think it's a poor one. Also, thank you for not bragging about how uber-cool suicide is. That's my main problem with people talking about suicide-- that, and when they're flip about it.

I dig that bass style. Have you ever seen Mike Watt (formerly of the Minutemen and fIREHOSE) play bass live? He's a powerhouse for sure. I never even noticed the bass guitar before until I heard him play it.
Looks like you're just a hair older than me, too. Welcome to the boards, old man!
