hello *waves*
Hi my name's Emily and I'm 16 and from the UK. Excuse my terrible spelling, I'm mildly dyslexic, thank God for spellcheck.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I work in Sainsburys two nights a week, the hours are crap but the pay is good.
2. Where are you from?
I be from Wiltshire. The town I live in is at the head of the Vale of the White Horse. Sounds posh eh? Well until I tell you I live in Swindon.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Either Terry Pratchett, Tamora Pierce or Tanith Lee. I mainly have to read teenage books because of my reading skills not being particuarly brilliant, but
4. What are your favorite films?
My favourite film is Monty Python's Holy Grail, I also like Heathers and Donnie Darko.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
Lai Lai Hei by Turisas, it's jolly!
6. At your funeral?
Bring me to Life, mainly for the purposes of irony.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Preferably painlessly but being killed with medaevil weapons would be cool also , as long as I got a chance to fight back and was heavily doped up on painkillers so it wouldn't hurt.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
A biodegradable one!
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My medaevil style green dress, it's only 4 sizes too big for me.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
Running around shops like a nutcase.
11. What's your favorite band?
Rather unfitting for this site but Nightwish.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I'm taking my GCSEs in June and I'm going to college to study a few subjects. Haven't decided yet.
13. Why did you join?
All the other sites I'm on are either slow, not loading or full of pregnant women in the third trimester saying about how it's so cute that there babys kick. Which is okay but at 12 weeks makes me feel a little left out.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female!

Salutations! I also like Terry Pratchett and Tanith Lee, nothing kiddish about them. Dyslexia doesn't mean you can't read - there's lots of literary novels as audiobooks now and I love'em. I'm also a tad dyslexic but I learned to read whole words (which means I often use rather odd word-orders in my sentences), thus was able to major in English Lit at University.
Welcome.

With my reading material I normally read Tanith Lee and Terry Pratchetts children's books, though I do attempt their books for adults. I should have made that a little bit clearer.
I'm trying to improve my reading and writing at the moment and I'm doing fairly well at school in English. I just have the odd moment where I can't read or spell a thing.
Unfortunately my skull is in use but you're welcome to a foot.
Indeedy I am spawning (now that just sounds odd, hehe.)
Thank you for the congratulations and the warm welcomes, I shall try not to be asswadish, I normally manage not to be.

Hi! There are in fact some people here who like nightwish... And Evanescence. And then there are those who hate it I'm listening to them right now...

I don't know yet I'm finding out at my next check-up, I want a little girl but a little boy would be nice too.
What I meant by me liking nightwish is they aren't exactly goth. I love them anyway.

Girls get really bitchy once they're teenagers, boys just exile themselves.

Dane. Can't tell much more without giving away privacy, identification, all that paranoid internet stuff. But yeah, Dane. I like it.

Congratulations on your impending grandfatherness.
I guess being a grandparent is better than being a parent, you get to spoil your grand kids.
