I would be happy to be helpful in any way I possibly can. There are many others on here that can also be helpful to you in finding your way here.
I don't think it is to late to make amends for the poor beginning you have made. I hope you noticed that others are willing to be nicer and helpful in the other threads that you have made. Please try to see if there is another thread that is already going that would be in the topic you wish to discuss before starting a new one. Ok?
I know it sucks to be verbally attacked from all sides. It just makes you want to lash out at those who do the attacking. And you have.
But that doesn't make you or them superior. I live in this lovely little dream world that every one should be treated equally until they show their ass. You came in ass first. lol Now let's see your good side. As for the other asses. Cover up. Your double standards are showing.
I know this is a literary forum, but in great big letters it says Gothic.Net. Those who are interested in Goth, are Goth, wanna be Goth come here. For those who are Goth I don't think we were just inherently aware of what all comes with
being Goth. Many come here to learn and many have a skewed idea of what goth is really about. The skewed get skewered before they even have a chance. Unless they have the right answers to the questionairre or are so unbelievably cool-ly non-comformist in how they don't answer the questionairre are they accepted.
Yes, she came in like a hell storm. She got lambasted. She attacked back. Yes, she has an annoying habit of making new threads where there should not be. At least she is making an effort. MissFreaky don't let us down or I will be the first one to bitch slap you.
Stop, look, listen, learn and apply.
Since this is a literary forum I leave you with this:
The Guy in the Glass
by Dale Wimbrow, (c) 1934
When you get what you want in your struggle for pelf,
And the world makes you King for a day,
Then go to the mirror and look at yourself,
And see what that guy has to say.
For it isn't your Father, or Mother, or Wife,
Who judgement upon you must pass.
The feller whose verdict counts most in your life
Is the guy staring back from the glass.
He's the feller to please, never mind all the rest,
For he's with you clear up to the end,
And you've passed your most dangerous, difficult test
If the guy in the glass is your friend.
You may be like Jack Horner and "chisel" a plum,
And think you're a wonderful guy,
But the man in the glass says you're only a bum
If you can't look him straight in the eye.
You can fool the whole world down the pathway of years,
And get pats on the back as you pass,
But your final reward will be heartaches and tears
If you've cheated the guy in the glass.
