We normally call that irony,it's tragic.I think people with certain IQ levels should be sterilized, but that's just my opinion.
Daz,I hope everything is better today. You probably just need to get away, just for one day.Sorry, couldn't help it.Get out and do something or spend a day sleeping, luv.Sounds like you need a hug...*hugs Daz*

Is it just me, or are things moving more quickly on ole gothic.net? I used to keep a novel by the computer to occupy the long loading times, but lately, it's been zooming along like magic. Have we been freed from the porno people?

Mm, morphine . . . this should belong under the "Addictions" thread. But seriously: if they give you morphine, then someone could impale you with a rubber bed-pan and you wouldn't give a damn.
Cathy, was it? I hope that you'll be doing better soon.

Well, lets see. Today I was just so damn tired I didnt get any of my errands done. But funny enough I was still able to get the energy up for a workout. But before I got home I had an anxiety attack while driving down the road(oh the joy of it). I havnt had one since I was a teenager, it scared the crap out of me because I couldnt pinpoint why I was having it.
The day went fine after that. I managed to pick-up a rental of REPO-MAN. Never seen it before, hope its as good as my friends tell me. Ive never really been a big fan of Estevez or the Sheens for that matter but we'll see I guess.
I did manage though to see the first 19 episodes of REDVSBLUE on DVD yesterday. Hysterical shit, Ill never be able to look at HALO the same way ever again.

Ah, the joys of waking up at 4am on a Saturday.
After occupying 45 minutes with checking up on email and all of that, I got bored and decided to wander onto Nick Pacione's website. Namely I was looking at the 'day to day' stuff when I came across the post entitled "No Hard Feelings to the Amins, but....."
It was certainly interesting reading material at 5am. Everytime he makes some sort of reverent remark towards someone, it's immediately followed by "but everyone else can suck my balls." Then there was the "that serial novel that is up on gothic.net can suck my balls" comment, at which point I decided against leaving any sort of comment on his site in reguards to that post.
Oh well. *sigh*
Time for some breakfast.

I will do that, but I think the doctors will want me to go swimming. But I will anyways since I love to swim.

For that. I am not here, you do not see me. I am indivisibly invisible. I hope I can use it? Yes that is why we all use that. For it. You can't see me. I am like the chameleon on your couch, sleeping, yes?
Soooo, what is that? I am unsure. Go check. Tell me.
You can't see me. I can taste your bread, do you taste the wine?
Ahg. It is not. I thought so.

what i wanna do is secretly raise a kid to learn everything the opposite, like for the word bad he'd say good. and when he was sad, he'd smile. that sorta stuff. i teach him that whenever your lost you should yell out "hurt me." which he thinks means "help me", but you know...hes all trained wrong and stuff. so then one day i get him lost in the gihetto and so he yells out "hurt me" and all the gihetto folk start beating him up. and then he'd be like "yes, keep doing that! yes, hurt me! hurt me! don't stop!" with a big old forced smile on his face. and it would be funny...hurrah for the greeks.

Cathy - hope your surgery went well. All the best to you ...
Falling - Erm, that's quite twisted. If not horribly cruel. I know it's just a fantasy ... but IMO, it's also rather sick ... that "kid" would be your child. True, raising it to learn everything backwards would be an interesting experiment, but allowing your child, envisioning it getting beaten up?
I don't think that's funny at all.
.................
Had my first day at uni. T'was good. Felt that I should give a brief comment on it...
I'm watching the Academy Awards at the moment ... damnit, I'm waiting to see who won Best Actress ... I could find out the results online, but it wouldn't be the same.
Cheers to Sofia Coppola for being the first woman to be nominated in the Best Director category.
Edit: Heh. A friend told me that Sofia was the first American woman to be nominated for Best Director, not first-ever woman.

It was Penn, BFairy.
Johnny Depp wasn't going to beat out a gut-wrenchingly dramatic act like that one. But it was nifty to see Jack Sparrow even nominated. I liked this year's Best Actor crop. Interesting selection of performances/performers.
Raise your hands if you remember "Caddyshack" ...
Raise your hand if you EVER imagined Murray'd be getting a nod like this ...

*raises hand on both counts*
hell, i also remember him in meatballs and his snl days.
always loved murray. i've always thought his talent was underappreciated. for those who might laugh at that....think about it.....think about all of his great characters (and there have been MANY) & then TRY to imagine someone else playing them. can't do it, can you? even the biggest oddball of his had a way of sucking you in. true, he's had some clunkers. they all do.
yep...this chick digs him. and it has nothing to do with his underwear.

Well, wish Cathy, Davena and I good luck... We have to take that stupid Florida Comprehensive Assesment Test(FCAT) on tomorrow, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday. It will be instrumental in determing whether or not we are promoted to the next grade...
*Double sigh*

Good luck to you and Cathy. It probably won't be very diffucult, though; from what you've said of your school, it doesn't seem like most of the students are geniuses, and the test has to be made so that the majority can actually pass it.

Bill Murray - *thumbs up*
...........
Second day at uni. Third time I've seen 'someone' around. Someone who I've been meaning to talk to, and get to know. He was in my anthropology lecture, and sat a seat from me (with no one in between us). I was going to say "hi" and introduce myself ... but I didn't.
I'm too chicken shit.
He looks a little like Asurai, actually. He's also very quiet; strikes me as the strong-silent type. I'm eager to get to know him.
... And I will. Once I gather my nerve to do so.

OTFW, you misunderstand me: I dig Bill Murray like a double wide grave. He seems ... almost a "subversive" element, in the context of Hollywood. I like, but never expected to see it. He's always been too true to a talent not pressed out of an extruder - and the people whose humor has survived (RIP Chevy Chase) don't always survive in quite such style. I think it kicks ASS that he's getting this recognition. I also think he is aging very attractively, but that's another issue. Heh.
Brag o' the day ...
I dunno. My shoes are sexy.
(Well, they generally are, but you people don't know that ...)

In the beginnings of Murray's movie career is a little-known barely-watched movie called The Razor's Edge based on the Maugham book. It's very serious, Murray is brilliant in it, and it totally fucking bombed in the theatres because nobody who wanted to watch serious movies wanted to watch a Bill Murray movie, and the people who went to watch a Bill Murray movie were repelled by the idea that there wasn't any slapstick and very little humor.
And then there's his portrayal of Hunter S. Thompson in Where the Buffalo Roam
So yeah, he always had it in him. Glad people (and by people I mean producers) can recognize that now.

They should have after "Caddyshack". But if they didn't after "Groundhog day", that show shows how high they rate on a stupidometer (measurements made using the Pacione standard).
