She said "go ahead and do it" or something to that effect. That would be giving permission, and when one gives permission, they assume you need it, why else would they give it?
Thanks, now take a hike.

Sweety, I think your tone and language are highly inappropriate. You might reconsider your way of addressing yourself to other people. (Although I'm sure you wouldn't have had the guts to say this if someone hadn't already taken your side.) If you really must lash out at someone, use sarcasm instead, because language like that is not tolerated around here. Have a nice day.

Crocs, are the most vile thing to happen to fashion ever!!! My mom is a nurse and owns a heap of them in all sorts of colors...every day she wears them I try to convince her to wear otherwise. I don't give a shit if they're comfy!!!!
And that stupid strap they put on the heel that nobody uses!!!!!!!! They were invented as gardening shoes so how the hell did they migrate into everyday fashion!!!! >_<
I LOATHE CROCS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If your mom is a nurse, she most likely wears scrubs. What difference does it make if she wears crocs? I don't think your mom is putting on a fashion show everytime she goes to work.

I agree that they are completely repulsive. They are also, for what they are, ridiculously expensive.

I'm shocked that people have the audacity to decorate them too....urgh.
I can't believe a small argument nearly surfaced there on the subject of crocs....Little bit unnecessary?

Haha - If you hate them that much, why not get the t-shirt?

Apparently these shoes aren't safe at all - they get caught on escalators (lots of google results for that).

Oops, did I just call those things "shoes"?
My mistake.

My friends mom has a pair, they're really fun to walk around in, all squishy and what not.
But I am vain and would never be seen wearing them.

Crocs are disgusting. Especially when 40 year old soccer moms have on bright orange ones.

hahaha, I love the hate in this thread, all for a line of shoes. I especially liked, "uglier then sin beaten with a stick". That's classy lol.
Mind you, I agree, they are the ugliest things I have ever seen. It's sort of like the total opposite of 'beauty is pain' I guess... 'Ugliness is comfort' maybe?
For the wearer at least. Personally, it hurts me to even see them.
I like docs, but they look really bad on me, so I stick with what my friends call my 'hooker boots' or these other pretty ones I have. Or heels. Or anything else except crocs.
I do like to garden though, but I've told all of my friends how much I hate them now, and I'd feel hypocritical buying them. Not to mention cost. They're too ugly to cost that much. $60 did someone say?

I would rather deal with the pain of wearing heels everyday than ever wear crocs. You sound like me, right down to the hooker boots. lol

haha, I agree. I would prefer almost any punishment to wearing crocs. And besides with heels, it might hurt a bit, but think about how pretty you look, you know?

To go with the Live and Kicking theme... MISS!!
They're just revolting and wrong and... sweaty looking :S I mean there are far less hideous shoes that are perfectly comfortable!! Not just Docs (I loves 'em, got a nice pair for work) but Birkenstocks too, all without the eye-bleeding horror bright orange plastic monstrosities!!
Even jelly shoes are better than Crocs, and that says it all...

When you're older you'll realize that there's more to life than being caught out in a pair of ugly shoes.

So true. Especially when after years of wearing those Oh so fashionable, yet uncomfortable shoes everyday screws up ever conceivable parts of your body and ones you don't even know about. Your chiro/doctor will thank you when they recieve payment.
I like my Crocs for work and anywhere I will be doing a heap of walking. My body doesn't scream at me later.

Crocs are evil, and not in a good way. I hate them like little kids hate veggies.
If they were the last shoes in the world I'd cut off my feet.

Crocs are horrendous. Whoever invented them needs to be beaten. I would be more than happy to do it, too.
And everyone almost has pointed out the ridiculous heel strap and bright colors. Atrocious. Wearing crocs would make me die a little inside...

OMFG!!, I walked past the DAWGS store and they have the winterboots version called "SHEEPDAWGS". Pics are in the this link.
http://www.dawgsclogs.com/
I'll be dammed if Crocs did the same thing. They are bloody ugly too.
