Oh grow up, ImmortalVampyre.
I can't tell my parents that I'm bisexual. My dad thinks gays "have a mental problem". A bit sad, really.
This whole issue of bisexuality being "in style", so to speak, is really annoying, though. It's like the "all teenagers are wild party animals" thing; a few assholes out there doing it for their image are ruining the rest of us.

Wonderfully articulate. Is there anything you don't fucking hate? Get a life and stop being angry at the world because you're insecure.
Pr'haps I AM a boy, and I know I'm fucking gorgeous, having been told so several times a day, so it's pretty useless telling me that.

Wait... are you referring to the kissing a girl bit? Because all that really implies to me is that I was a curious teenager playing Truth or Dare...
But really, I agree with you. By calling myself 'straight' I'm not saying I rule out women completely, just that as of yet I haven't been attracted to one in that way. I certainly wouldn't reject the possibility of a relationship if I did happen to meet a woman I wanted one with. No sexual orientation is completely set in stone.

I thank all you who support me.
I just don't see why saying you are bi is such a bad thing?
How could people ever tell if it was the truth?
Take their word for it and let them do as they wish. That's my oppinion.

Well, the only way to tell really is to see who they date. Making out with someone or hooking up with someone doesn't really count as that is what most people believe bi people do. Just go out, get drunk/high/whatever and find the first hot person to mack on. But if someone has a genuine connection (that lasts beyond that night or hour) with people of the same sex, then I would consider them to be bi. (This is all just my opinion though.)

I'm with you on that one, but only when it comes to women.
Anyway, it's been said that women who experience high levels of lust are more likely to be attracted to both sexes. Women are more flexible, it seems, when it comes to bisexual relationships. For men, though, a strong sex drive is associated with increased attraction to women or men, but never both. I'm actually really confused about this whole "bi trend."
I can connect with women emotionally, just not sexually. I don't consider myself bisexual, though. I don't think I could ever bring myself to engage in sexual activities with women.

You are either too stupid to know what a racist remark sounds like, or you're an actual racist. Most likely it's a bit of both.

Well pardon me for being born Asian *rolls eyes* We don't so much freak out about our grades as we freak out about what our PARENTS will think when they see our grades. To my father, anything BELOW a 90% is automatic "F". I personally think there's nothing wrong with B's OR wanting to be intelligent, but that's just me. It's sure of a hell lot easier to keep my parents happy and off my back than to argue with them about it.
Seeing stupid stereotypical, racist crap like this on here is pretty insulting.

Both my parents were born and raised in China, in relative poverty, so they're determine I get into an Ivy-league level college and become a doctor or something. They're both quite conservative and old-fashioned--my father thinks gays are basically freaks of nature--but my mother's a little more open to new ideas, which is a relief.
Judging and bashing all Asians the way DarkPrayer did, just because our last generation strive for perfection is uncalled for.

How did Ophelia insult Asians? She was being sarcastic, if you didn't notice.

Not necessarily. Some classes are just crap. Memorization, and following directions. However, some, and in fact, most of the classes I had, required real intelligence.
It depends on the subject, teacher, and school district.

Agreed. I definitely use brain in most of my classes. When you're discussing American Literature and Puritan conflicts memorization doesn't do you much good.

If that's Blindness in Black's pic in the avatar, I actually find it quite attractive. Very pretty. But as BiB mentioned, I'm sure he's used to hearing that. ^____^

I might be new in these waters, but I thought I'd throw in my two cents.
I support anybody that wants to be honest with themselves and about themselves, so good luck, Anarasha, and the best to you.
I noticed that this thread has begun to move toward the idea of sexuality determining people that make good partners for love... Perhaps I'm being too literal here, but I'd think that sexuality is more about what causes sexual arousal. Thus, I think it's entirely reasonable for people to consider themselves straight, bi, or gay based on 'in the pants parts.' If a guy finds himself attracted or even in love with another guy, but not sexually aroused by him, then I wouldn't think he is homosexual - he's just in love with a guy. Maybe I'm way off in the common parlance here, but hey, it wouldn't be the first time.

That might be why there's tops and bottoms. ^___^
If you LOVE someone, you'll eventually want to make them feel good, despite what your chemical reactions would say in the pants.

Haha, thanks Kon. The photo I used for my avatar is one of my favorites--I had my hair up in pigtails! It actually looked ridiculous, but you can't see them in this picture.
@Vexik: I usually think "in love" links to eventually, if not already, "sexual attraction", but that's a really interesting viewpoint. I'll have to think about that, while I do my Genetics homework and ponder about Mendel.
