That's ludicrous. You don't need math to be successful, unless you want a career as an engineer who construct bridges etc. (Even a few wallstreet-like guys that make millions know squat math actually, I happen to know a few...)

So don't feel sorry for not knowing math. Never, EVER let anyone (including yourself) think you're worthless because you can't do math.

How does ACT's work anyway? Can you get good grades on the rest of it, and have that as merits or how does it work? (I don't know what the equivalent of that is here in my country, sadly enough.)

I don't really know how the ACT works. I just know I have to take it to get into the college I applied to. From what I've heard, it's just a test with a section for each subject, each section no more than forty questions, according to a friend.

Go over the formulas. Try to memorize them before tommorrow. You do know you can use a calculator on the ACT.

Yes, I do know I can use a calculator. Arithmetic I can do, it's the formulas that are the problem - I just can't do the problems. I can't memorize formulas, I never could.

wait a second...my friend took the SAT practice and they gave her all the formulas she needed to know....
I wonder if they do the same on the ACT though.

Of course. I'm not the kind of person who blames his own faults on others. More than anything, if I failed I'd be disappointed in myself. I don't think I will, though.

Nope, it's not the test's fault. It's my fault for not studying, although I can't really say that it's my own fault that I can't understand math. It's nobody's fault, really.

Yes, I can take the test again for another $40.

You feel bitchy? Don't feel bad. It looks like i'm not going to go back to college. Those cost are really too much to maintain. I really don't have any other skills and I've filled out every application I can. But maybe we'll think of something.
