Hot or not
Ah yes the season of dips is upon us, everything from cheese, to caviar, to guacamole. But among all dips there is one flavor that stands above them all. Spicy. Who here likes things spicy, who likes them extremely spicy, who likes things spicy with a cup of milk (or vodka for those over 21) on the side, and who doesn't like it spicy at all. Also note your favorite spicy dip here or non spicy dip.

I can't handle spicy foods. I once said broccoli was spicy, there is no way I'd ever eat anything with hot sauce or peppers.

I love those things. I would very much love to live on peppers and spicy food. I love spice. Curry is my favorite though.

Curry is a culinary orgasm. Beef Vindalou, when properly prepared, can burn a hole in your face! In a beautifully flavorful way, of course.

There's a little Indian takeaway shop not far from where I live. Their butter chicken is to die for.

Ah damn! Now I'm craving Indian food! Or perhaps some good Pad Thai. Aw man, now I'm hungry, and I don't want to feel guilty about raiding my friend's fridge...

I like habanero peppers. They taste kind of fruity, with a kick.
However.. spicy foods (as much as I love them) will make me sick sometimes, so I generally avoid them.

That's why you have to mix them with other stuff. Like a little habanero sauce (since you said you like habanero) with spaghetti sauce. Or spicy garlic sauce with pizza sauce. For example.

I like Indian food. I live in a really multicultural area of the West Midlands, and there is a massive Indian community here. So Indian restaurants abound.
My favourite Indian dish is a Chicken Malaya. It's medium hot, and usually has a ring of pineapple in the bottom of the curry which adds a slight sweetness. Add a Naan bread , Pilau rice and some poppadoms with hot dip and that is a meal fit for the Gods.

As a baby I was given a yellow chili as a pacifier. I love spicy. The hotter the better.
Thai curry chicken, jalapeño pizza, chili rellenos, Kung Pao Chicken, or just plain chili salsa with corn chips, will make me feel well fed and nourished. Even with Italian, such as lasagna or fettuccine Alfredo, I will at least order a side of pepporcinis to go with it.
Friends my age ask how my digestive system, down to the very "end", can handle it, but I have never had a problem with "that" for some reason. I must have evolved a cast iron butt.

When I made this thread I somehow knew you would have a story on how much you like spicy food.

I love spicy food! Thing is, if you don't drink lots of water after eating spicy food, you could cause your kidneys some difficulty.

So spicy is bad for the kidneys? or is it some other component of the spice? if the spicy flavor itself is the issue then the best options are vodka or milk otherwise you might as well have put gas on a fire.

There really should be an option for warm. I like things with a little kick (like say a curry chicken salad) but I really don't like anything with more kick than that
