Lip ring question.
To the people with lip rings, I want to know, in your opinion, does it get in the way when you kiss? Like what problems does it pose? I want to know because I love kissing my girlfriend, and I would love to get a lip ring. If it gets in the way, I won't get one. Responses please!

Now I wouldn't know personally but my friends seem to be fine kissing with it, but suppose if it does get in the way, people just work around or make it a fun part of the kiss, heh ^_^

I wouldn't say it's awesome for kissing, but it's certainly not a problem. I used to have one and not one girl complained, and I've kissed girls who had one or several, no problem there either.

Do you all think I should get like a fake clip on one just to kiss my girlfriend and see if it creates a problem for us?

Actually, that's not a bad idea.
Get something like a circular/horseshoe barbell and bend it to fit your lip.

I had one in the nose too.
And yes, but I won't show them.

Back.. when I was a mallgoth..
I would do that before I went to the mall.
To look cooler.

Pssshh , past is past
We all did things to look cooler, and I'm sure we all do things from time to time for that same reason, though some may deny this.

I agree, especially seeing as how my mallgoth days aren't all that far behind me.
On Topic: I've heard some girls find it a major turn on. I know what you mean though man, I've wanted two lip rings for a while.

After it's all healed, can't you take a lip ring out anyways? So if it does get in the way, you pause, remove, then continue?

When I was kissing a girl with a lip ring it didn't bother us at all. In fact it added to the effect of it.

I've never had a problem with it. It might be a problem if you're kissing someone inexperienced, but if so, they will learn.

I had one and it got in the way of everything, not just kissing.

Yes, redbamboo has a point there... You're not supposed to kiss or engage in oral sexual activity until the swelling goes down, at least, maybe even until it heals if you want to be extra careful.

Piercings you gotta love 'em. I would suggest to get a fake one and try it out with your girlfriend, then see if you really like it.
I got my beauty spot done in my younger days. Biggest mistake ever. It grated along my teeth and because my immune system was down it kept weeping and getting infected. I took it out after three months. It never healed up. Now I have a massive scar.
