It took a good deal of time for EPS to get the new board together and through out the whole thing she kept in contact with most of us via email, messenger, or had Xng get the info to us here but they only wanted some of the members to come along because they didn't want to deal with crap like this when people were just trying to have some fun.

Oh and if you don't think that we all used to be fucking juvenile then you are looking back on the boards through rose tinted glasses with some very thick lenses

I can deal with "Childish" humour like cock jokes and genuinely random humour. The problem with the humour here is that it's insanely forced and reminiscent of the jokes the more conservative and sheltered 7 year olds tell each other.

Crap like this only happens because the rest of gothic.net is crap. It makes no sense - she was obviously in opposition to the way gothic.net became, and so was I. I don't happen to think gothic.net was ever all that good at all, but at least it was slightly better.

Change is a constant promise in this life. Everything is temporary their is no point attempting to hold on to the oh this and oh that. I use to post on other boards for years and now they dont exist anymore. It was fun but shit, people move on, the web is an ever advancing flexible space of noise. I use to post on Gnet back in the day and it was cool, I like the Gnet today, it brings a bit of spunk into the day. Find a niche and get into it. That is why they are here. Their are plenty of philosphy forums out there for creative minds if that what someone is looking for, if not make the threads but dont complain when the general population here is not into it.
