Yes I've seen the music video to 'Big Girls'. The whole thing seemed to make a mockery out of obesity. I don't know why, but it just put me off completely.

I really really hate it when people who are clearly fat, are called curvy. Someone with backrolls and a big blob of fat on the front is not curvy. Women like...I don't know...Beyonce , or Kelly Brook are curvy. They have toned ( but not hollow or six pack-like ) stomachs, and proportionate boobs. Same goes for the phrase " big is beautiful ". NO. In most cases it isn't.

It's just a personal pet hate of mine. Obviously there are people who find such size beautiful. I am just not one of them.

If only i lived in the US, or in the UK.. then would be great. Unlike in my country here, i lived in S'pore.. So our community isnt very big. And when you wear gothic, there will be stares everywhere and every minute.
But our country here is trendy, but very very few people knows what goth is, some thinks that others that dresses gothic = Cosplayers.. they couldnt differentiate both gothic fashion / cosplayer.. ya, you see...

Slowly i hope, goth fashion will hit the industry one day...
I <3 Gothic always...
Try not to mind the stares, you'll be happier for wearing what you want to wear instead of wearing the "trendy" clothes just because everyone else is. Because one way or another your true self is going to shine through if you try to suppress it. If you still think you weigh too much, my best weight-loss tip is to make sure you drink enough water. You'll feel a lot better too. 8D

Something's bothering at all times..
I love wearing Gothic but the problem is me that i am fat. Im not that fat, before i used to be overweight and i lost many Kilo's the last few month, now the main problem is i still have those excess flabby at my waist and its uncomfortable . Is it alright to wear goth and when a person is fat? Also, its alright for me to wear gothic, becoz im tall and big size?
I tried to ignore when people walk past me.. is it alright also if someone alone wears gothic go out too?

Can someone please enlighten me.. Also, may i know what's those face white
powder you know when ppl apply their face and it stays the way when they apply make-up?

Thank you

Regards
God bless all of you~
I have a serious issue with my weight too. I weight 170 at 5 feet 4 inches. Although I know that there are many goth outfits that I love, I am to afraid to wear them. I don't want to look ugly and even MORE fat, which is stupid, because black is a slimming colour/shade.

It is possible to loose weight you know. I am sure that if you try hard enough, you will succeed. I am trying to loose weight. I am not doing well in the fitness area, but I eat very healthy.

You should eat healthy whether you need to loose weight or not.

Wait, this means that I look gay due to my obesity, and the fact I wear a vast amount of clothing that would more than likely be considered goth in fashion, and no one has told me ? HOW COULD YOU! YOU BASTARDS!

Oh no, goth fashion looks pretty gay no matter who's in them. Did you know a lot of the punk and goth fashions were inspired by the gay sex shops of the 70s?
