Evening, all.
How do you do? My name is Caitlin.
1. What do you do? (Hobbies, job)
I love to read, write, draw, paint, view films, ponder, go outside and behold the world...
2. Where are you from?
I am from Massachusetts.
3. Who is your favorite author?
Anne Rice, Kazuo Ishiguro, Hermann Hesse, Stephen King, Vladimir Nabokov, Francesca Lia Block, Franz Kafka, Chuck Palahniuk, James Joyce, Charles Dickens... there are more but I am currently blanking.
4. What are your favorite films?
Interview With the Vampire, Dracula, Wings of Desire, Holy Mountain, El Topo, all David Lynch films, Lord of the Rings trilogy, The Crying Game, Rocky Horror Picture Show, Psycho, Tim Burton movies, The Shining, Neverending Story, many independant films, older black and white films, and silent films such as Cabinet of Dr. Caligari, A Fool There Was, and Nosferatu.
5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
=) Some classical and ambient music, The Cure, Dead Can Dance and Cocteau Twins. Perhaps some Clan of Xymox, Sisters of Mercy, and Bauhaus.
6. At your funeral?
How Like a Winter. Perhaps Dargaard and The Cure's 'Disintegration' and 'Faith' albums.
7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
Hmmm.. in the arms of a vampire. Or a loved one.
8. What kind of casket would you want?
I have not yet decided if a burial is more satisfactory for myself than cremation as of yet.
9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
I adore a long, floor length skirt with a corset and a trench coat.
10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
My imagination was even more vast back then than it is now. Everything I imagined seemed real, and my enthusiasm for such adventures was worthy of envy.
11. What's your favorite band?
At the moment, perhaps Clan of Xymox or The Cure. It changes frequently.
12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
I am about to graduate from a public high school. I shall be majoring in art and minoring in creative writing.
13. Why did you join?
I wish to speak with others of a more intelligent and dark-minded nature.
14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Female.

Hmm, 7 and 13 make my brow rise like a zombie but welcome all the same. Just avoid thinking that goth is a divine birthright/using it as an escapist lifestyle and you'll do fine.

Yeah, poetry is my main field of writing. I'm also writing a comedy sitcom about the small town I live in.
