Yeah, but it´s like, for example, I tell everyone I´m not a whore and I dress like one and have sex with everybody, but I still keep saying I´m not...

No, because Marilyn Manson doesn't play goth music or even dress too much like a goth.
It's like you tell everyone you're not a whore, but maintain an interest in horticulture, and everyone says "Ha, who does she think she's fooling? Whore."

OK. I think it's actually relative. Even if Goth culture has it's parameters and definition , there're a lot of different convictions of what a goth person is. People that usualy think Manson is goth have poor knowledge about the culture or about Manson, or even about what Manson really is...

Are you serious?
I can't believe you had so much.
There's listening to one manson song.
There's having one of his albums.
There's listening to a song by him once every week, or every day.
That's barely 4%
How the fuck did you get 7 more?
Humping Marilyn Manson? Dressing like Manson? Being Manson? Preaching about Manson?

Why? If they wanted to be dishonest, they'd all say 0%.

Wow! Someone who questions my statement rather than attacking it. Rare.
If they said 0%, everyone would definitley know they were lying. 1% is more believable. This is also why I said I doubt ALL of them were being honest, leaving room for someone who's telling the truth.

HAAHAHA. That made my day.
I think it's more like telling everyone you're not into porn, but taking lifedrawing classes because it improves your sense of human proportion and ability to draw in general. Some people just don't know the difference.
They just Don't Get It. >.>

Despite my annoyance at Manson's progression through the years, I feel it would be cool if my father started liking Marilyn Manson.
Currently, he's developed a penchant for Blink 182 and Avril Lavigne, and that I can't manage.

HAve you ever heard a manson song? Yes
Do you own at least 1 (manson) CD? Yes
Does the cd(s) bring back memories? yes
Have you ever seen a Manson music video? yes
Have you seen at least 1 film manson apeared in? yes (jawbreaker)
Do you look like you dressed up as manson everyday? sometimes
Have you ever dreamed about marilyn manson? yes
Can you play a manson song on your instrument? kinda I try
Would you ever have sex with a manson member? I would of in 8th
grade... maybe even now...
Have you ever dreamed about having sex with a Marilyn Manson member? yes
Is your computer desktop all spruced up with Manson pics? it was once or twice,.
Have you ever tried to get your parents to like Marilyn Manson? yeah
I answered yes to 12 quetions out of 100. wich means im 12% if all questions are worth the same amount.
I honestly dont think manson sounds all that bad. People trash him too much. I do like his music videos. I find the "shock" some people get from him to be funny. I was a fan starting in about 8th grade. I bought the "lest5 we forget" album learned all the lyrics etc. I remeber that I though manson was metal and that it sounded hard core. Now I know manson is easy listening compared to the metal I've descovered since then.
I wish ppl would stop making such a fuss.
His remakes are pretty good. Lyrics are catchy. And I do think that mansons look is kinda hot/attractive/sexy/etc. Wich my mom found disturbing (lol). I personally think he's kinky in a psuedo way.
I dont realy listen to him any more. I've out grown the band. But every now and then I pop in a cd and sing along remebering the old days...
Sure society uses him to make us look like demons or w/e word you wanna use, but wtf he does what he does deal with it.
I personally find craddle of filth and dimmu borgir to be way more annoying... no one rags on them ...blaaa w/e nvm..

Oh, and I am also 4% Mansonite.
I dig some of his songs, and he puts on a great show. Also, a few of his songs remind me of an ex. When I hear them I remember the winter I was seventeen.

I think we'd all either go nuts or go strangle ourselves on our computer wires if important world issues were presented in every thread... >.< Personally I find them exhausting in high doses...

Bah! I don't need a test to tell me what I already know.
I can respect the guy for being a hell of an entertainer & gaining success at what he does. Hell, he nailed both Rose McGowan AND Dita Von Teese so he must be doing somthing right!
However, I can't respect the guy for gaining airplay success on account of covering other people's material ( Tainted Love? Personal Jesus? Dude! Do your own shite!!) Mind you I liked Mob Scene but apparently I wasn't in much company there. Plus the only compelling reason for watching the video was Dita & her oversized martini glass routine
