Summer Shows

So, is anyone going to any exciting concerts this summer? I myself am going to see Peter Murphy. I'm basically ecstatic.

Holy crap, I can't blame you for being ecstatic! I'd love to see him. My daughter and I are going to see Modest Mouse at the end of this month, and I'm trying to decide whether to totally dress up or keep it simple, since they're not exactly a goth group. I'm also keeping an eye out for some concerts at smaller venues in the area. That's how we got to meet Within Temptation and Stolen Babies last year. I just found out that Weird Al is touring again. LOL We saw him the last time he was here, and it was one of the best shows we've ever been to. I swore that if we can ever get to another of his shows, we will!

I'm very upset though that I missed Muse during their tour.

So far my concert schedule hasn't been loaded up, other than Eric Idle with Not the Messiah (He's a Very Naughty Boy) at the Hollywood Bowl (love the Bowl!) and, if I'm in town, NIN in early September.

Speaking of Peter Murphy, I'm bummed Bauhaus won't be touring in support of their new album.

Ah. So many shows, so little money :-( There are things going on every week that I am so saddened to miss out on... Poverty sucks!!

Some random Balinese punk shows, most likely. Headed for Indonesia in June, yay.

The Birthday Massacre will be here next week after a four-year absence. Mmm...Chibi...
The Cure will be up in Austin in early June so THAT's a must see.
If I had the money for both gas AND the tickets I'd go see The Police, again, in 2 weeks, altho this time they're over in Houston. I saw them here in November & they just slayed! Just my luck most of the concert goers were casual fans who only knew "the hits!"

I wasn't aware that The Cure was on tour! =( All the tickets seem to be either sold out or priced insanely high.

Ughh. I have my GCSEs at the moment, so no concerts til the end of June for me.

I'm going to Whitby in October though, and I'm seeing the Mighty Boosh just before my birthday in November.

Don't think I'll manage much else this year though.
