Sex is like an other thing in life that has possible serious consequences...really, you can have sex once and only once and it can kill you, just like that. That's a fact, you can try to prevent problems, HIV, a child, etc. but nothing is 100% effective and going through a marriage ceremony certainly does not prevent those things either.
Sex before marriage. Sure, most defiantly....I would not think of marrying someone if I didn't even know if we were sexually compatible. But married or not it needs to be IF and ONLY if the person is mature enough to handle it and educated enough to protect themselves. Unfortunately, I see a lot of people that are as old as 16-18 years old say stuff that is just so untrue about birth control, disease control, etc. at times that it scares me. I don't know if they believe the wrong information or have had no real (parent, doctor, teacher) information and go with myths or what but they really think that know or have such limited experience that they think one sexual partner would be similar to ALL partners, etc. It's really scary, I guess a lot of them just won't live long but it happens, not everyone makes it.
