Actually, I saw her live at a mostly rock festival, and nearly the entire audience was booing at her for the duration of her performance. I felt bad for her, but she sounded awful. Maybe she was just having a bad day? Keep in mind this was like 5 years ago or more.

Saw her live a few times, once before she hit it big, about 8-10 years back, and once about three years ago- loved her madly, madly. Her voice is like humidity- it sticks and crawls down your neck.
