Ooh nice work. I tried making some little model things out of resin putty a long time ago. I could never manage heads or skulls. Those look really good.

Fankyouuu.

I made a green man bracelet from FIMO too . Just the face and the two oak leaves, they curl round the wrist when I wear it . The other beads and the clasps are bought . Not goth of course but I like him

And here is the Sisters patch I made about an hour ago. Heavy cotton and fabric paint. You have to iron it once the paint is dry and it screwed with my stitches on the edges somewhat. Nevermind though.

Do not mock too hard

So in this wonderful town that I reside in, all the tourists come in to work to get these wonderful hats so they can look like real life cowboys at the big rodeo and whilst walking around Main Street. Well, I decided to get one and try to do something with it. I only got it tonight, so I am on step one. It started out as a nice tan, then it went straight to black, with the help of Sir Rustolium. Now, I just have to figure out where to go from here. I am thinking studs, or spikes, but I'm not sure. I also got some chrome paint, so I am thinking of something skull related on the back. The paint must dry tonight, then we can go from there. We'll see what winds up happening. It is pretty much only worn/going to be worn when I am on my motorcycle, or go out to the cowboy bar in town. Wish me luck, and any ideas would be great.

I think it'd be cool to keep the cowboy theme by doing a hat band, black leather with needle spikes though, of course. You'd probably have to make your own, but it shouldn't be too hard, I'd assume living in Wyoming you'd be able to get your hands on a strip of black leather.

Oh, I already have strips of black leather. Now, spikes, on the other hand, are a bit harder to find locally.

Those aren't too hard to find online, I've also found a couple craft stores that stock them.

Ehm this is nothing super-amazing, but one night when I was super-bored I took some old scraps (metal pieces, plastic beads and stuff) and put together a necklace... It isn't really a super-nice necklace, but it is a result of boredom

See, I do that, but I put them in my hair. I mix steel washers , little brass nuts and thingies, bits of old charm bracelets or old necklaces and decorative beads ( both bought in shops and made myself ) all strung on copper jewellery wire which I feed through a couple of thinnish braids starting behind each ear. . You can see some of them in the last pic I posted in the pic thread.

This thread is awesome, once I'm able to post pics I have a lot to add. I love DIY clothes, and most of my wardrobe is made up of it. I just finished altering a short sleeve white button down from Salvation Army. I added pleather grommet tape to the shoulders and sides and replaced the buttons with black ones.

That sounds cute =D
I made something last night.
I took an old CD, which has broke in my older player and cut the pieces into squares. Then I pained a tape roll white, and wrapped half of it in aluminum foil. Then I glues four squares on the white side.
It's shiny.

My jacket's pattern arrived on saturday; so I'm now in the process of making it (step 17 out of 37). Will post pictures of it when I'm finished along with my hats and skirt.

This bit should possibly be in shill, but this is the shop I used to get my cloth for it, it's lovely stuff, so I'll put in the link.

I think this will work now...

Crocheted these armwarmers, my own pattern. If anyone wants it PM me and I can try to remember exactly how I did it.

Shirt I mentioned earlier, its finished enough that I can wear it, might add more to it at a later date.

I started my jacket. So far I've put on new cuffs so the sleeves are long enough for me and stenciled the first patch. It isn't sewn on yet as I'm planning on putting another one above it.

Pic here

Taah.

Wow they're awesome.
I've wanted to do something with bones.
But I cant find any I really like.
I don't get stuff from the house because my mum's vegetarian.
And the only other bones I have are animal skull and antlers.
I sense that antlers maybe be a bit heavy...

Where did you get your bones from?

I'm a big lame-o and I bought my bones from necromance.com. There's PLENTY of roadkill around here, so I'm not sure why I don't just snatch some bones from the street, but that site's got a shit ton of awesomeness.

Necromance is my favourite shop ON EARTH.

That's an awesome necklace Xombie. What kind of bones are they? I really wanted to get the coyote tarsels, but I don't think they'd ship the bones overseas =[ (they did ship bone beads and jewellery overseas though, perhaps it's worth a try...)
