Yes, I am a bit horrified at the moment though. While looking for THAT photo, I came across other photos of people who were affected by Narcotizing Fasciitis (Flesh-Eating Bacteria). The pictures were much worse than that spider bite. I feel so bad for people who have to suffer through that.
So yeah, there are worse things than spiders...

no clue
This thread reminds me of this one time that I went to camp. My group had a councilor that wouldn't let anyone kill anything because they were "all gods creations" so my friend would always say that any bug she killed had cancer so she was just putting it out of it's misery.

I don't see why people are afraid of spiders, unless they're the poisinous kind. It is irrational. They will not hurt you.

Unimatrix, I know what you mean. But how can someone who is not knowledgeable of spiders know which ones are poisonous or not?

That is true, but even in instances where there is no chance of there being a poisinous spider, some people are still terrified of them. It's the same with other insects. I find it illogical.

Only if they're tarantulas. Or something equally large.

Yeah, I used to think that was a really disgusting picture until I saw pictures of things you couldn't even imagine. That spider bite doesn't gross me out as much anymore. Sorry if you puked.

I found a spider today while I was cleaning up, it was in a box. I screamed and ran away. I wonder if its still there?
I know logically its not going to hurt me, but I get the willies whenever I see something without a spine.

I'm kinda sad though now that I'm not living with my parents, they'd take care of it for me I can't get near them, to be honest.
When I was a kid our house had a problem with sow bugs, and they'd crawl on my ceiling. I'd freak out and run for dad, he'd get a tissue and pick them off.

Did you see the car he was driving before he "popped a cap in his ass?" At least the spider has style.
Yeah, I don't think spiders freak me out so much anymore :P

I dislike spiders. They're creepy and they can bite.
I call my friend Spider. But that's as close as I get to spiders.
