Hey.. Ryan here..
Well hello, figured I'd introduce myself.

1. What do you do?
At the moment not much. I'm a senior in highschool. I enjoy listening to listening to dark metal, I love computers. I hate the sun, and I love the dark.

2. Where are you from?
White Plains, New York. I seem to be one of the few goths around here.

3. Who is your favorite author?
Definitely H. P. Lovecraft

4. What are your favorite films?
I love scary shit. Any zombie or ghost movie will do.

5. What music do you want played at your wedding?
It's hard to say. At the moment it would be something dark, like Cradle or Dimmu, but by the time that rolls around I could be into something different.

6. At your funeral?
Till' We Die by Slipknot. Very sad kind of bye-ish song.

7. This IS a gothic website, so... how do you want to die?
In my sleep I guess. This really doesn't matter to me.

8. What kind of casket would you want?
Definitely an old Dracula style casket with red interior. Maybe with my favorite quote engraved on the outside.

9. What's your FAVORITE outfit?
My black jeans with my 'knot hoddie, I don't have much goth attire.


10. What's one thing you miss about being a little kid?
When I was about 7, I use to live in the creepy house that I always felt like someone was watching me in. At the time it scared me, but now I would love to live there.

11. What's your favorite band?
Depending on the time of year one seems to dominate the other but, the two I juggle around as my favorite are Cradle of Filth, and Slipknot (don't butcher me, lol)

12. What kind of education do you have? What is/was/will be your major?
Like I said I'm a senior in high school. I will major something in computers.

13. Why did you join?
I joined because I don't know many if any goths in person. I would like to expand my gothic boundaries and hopefully learn more about goth culture. And of course hopefully meet some cool people who share same interests.

14. If the first 13 questions didn't give it away. What is your gender?
Should be able to tell but, I'm a dude.

I like Cradle of Filth, but you seem like you're trying to fit into the goth culture too much. Be yourself.

If he said "don't butcher me" at mention of them and Slipknot, then that would imply that he knows goths don't like them. If he was really trying that hard to fit into goth culture he would have listed a bunch of stereotypical goth bands.

So on another note, the OP probably isn't as goth as he thinks he is.
