gigantour 2009 - epic fail
While gigantour 2008 graced us with the presence of (not all) good metal, some are actually struggling to see how 2009's line-up is even real metal at all.
it would seem that Dave Mustaine ( of Megadeth, who headline the tour annually) is 'gigantwhoring' himself out to the emo hordes who squeal at the sights of Bullet For My Valentine and Aveneged Sevenfold. While it may be argued that they deserve some musical merit, when compared to lineups from previous years featuring bands such as Arch Enemy and Lamb of God, BFMV and AS are about as metal as a fluffy pink toilet seat.
Perhaps a once great tour is now headed for the same dreary, shitty path as Warped tour 
--- a sad and infuriating day.

didn't they put a bunch of little pussies like MCR above old, popular bands like kiss and such? ... everyone in metalhammer was pretty pissed.
