1334 (Melbourne, Australia)

Thought I might as well mention here that Bat Brains and I are now running 1334. DJ Poisondwarf and Babylon Deluxe have decided to move onto other deathrock-related projects, and have passed on the reigns to us.

So without further ado, just in case there are some Melbournites out there of going-out age that aren't already aware of this:

The greatest club flyer you'll ever see (featuring my very own fishnets in the background, that's right!)

And if the link is too difficult to click on, here's the info:

1334: Australia's premier deathrock, tradgoth and horrorpunk party
Saturday 21st of March
12am till late @ DV8 Nightclub Level 2
12 McKillop St, Melbourne
DJs: Bat Brains, Cicero, Poisondwarf, 'Spooky Shaz' and Bone Daddy
Entry $12 / $10 with flyer
www.myspace.com/club1334

So if you're over 18 and within a few hundred kilometres of this lovely city I EXPECT TO SEE YOU THERE, BITCHES.

That's awesome. If I ever go to Melbourne, you better let me in for free, what with crossing the Pacific for a club and all, e?

Awesome, I'd better see you at the June one then!

And Jillian, if you learnt how to use DJ equipment and brought over some CD's you'd get free entry AND get paid. How about it, 'Guest DJ Jillian'?

Does that count for Corpses?

I have a basic knowledge of how to use a sound board from working on various show productions while I was studying stage and screen arts.

Ahaha we'll see, depends on how my studies look then. Ooh I can be a pack mule for equipment! If I can haul sound and lighting equipment up an 8 story building for a roof top party with a band then I'm sure i can work on level ground. XD

Sound boards are probably way more complicated than basic DJ equipment... That being said though, guest DJ's MUST have experience with playing music to a crowd. All first-time DJ sets, including my own, are usually disastrous, haha. Cleared dance floors, dead quiet when the next song isn't lined up, CD's not working, etc. If you arrive before it starts though I can always show you the ropes of our glorified CD player.

And Sir Canvas Corpsey, though our venue is located up quite a few stairs, we thankfully have equipment that stays in the one place at all times. If ever we decide to throw a rooftop party with a full DJ booth and sound system I'll keep you in mind though
