Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

Ooh, I like those! I would need something with a little more support, though.

Am I the only one who tends to seek out the shoes with the highest heels I can find for summer wear? I mean, it depends on what style I'm wearing that day, of course, but I do tend to go all dressy or all deathrocker in summer. And when in the mood for the latter I'll just ignore the weather and wear my boots anyway. *grins* I know I won't die of a heatstroke or something with all those fishnets on anyway...

I wear my boots.
Or more often now, my beaten up baseball boots.
I need ankle support to stamp out all that happiness that summer brings.

The happiness of that is brought by all the warm, sunny weather, or the happiness brought by the prospect of having a nice view of women in those short shorts and tank tops?

The first one.
I like short shorts and tank tops.
I wear vests to show off mah guns too.
Which helps with that happiness.

You're a great singer, I've noticed that you are on a Major Record Label. How'd you accomplish that?

Hey, thanks. Actually, that's a glitch in the Myspace code or something, I've been unable to change it (I've contacted them to help me fix it). I'm still unsigned (but finally actually getting gigs...).

Oh... well, it doesn't change the fact that you're a great singer... Duane would like some tips on improving his voice, you got any?

Well, thanks. Yeah, I do - get a teacher - a *good* teacher. Best piece of advice I ever received. They're a bit pricey, but it's well worth it, no matter what ambitions you have.

I don't know, I think anyone who makes Johnny Rotten sound like Freddie Mercury shouldn't bother getting a good teacher.

A good teacher might still be able to help, dear. A lot of good things can happen to your voice if you learn correct singing technique.

I know I'd never be able to wear them as I can't wear knee length boots due to enormous calves, but I WANT THESE BOOTS!
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...link:middle:uk
They cry out to be steampunked! Spray the metal heel thing brass or copper, and fit a spring or some other unusual device into the gap! WANTWANTWANT!

I had a couple of pairs of docs that feel apart, I didn't buy any for ages and I got some last autumn that are still going strong, so maybe the quality is back?

For myself I'm actually trying to get my hands on a pair of Crocs.
Yes, I said Crocs. But not the ones most people are probably thinking of. Check these out:

They are heeled, but cute and comfortable. Just can't find them in my size.

I can't wear Crocs. My house doesn't have wheels.

Why not just buy a pair of non-rubber pair of shoes with the same look for the same price? Seriously, why would you want rubber shoes?

HONEYTHORN.
I don't know what shoe size you are, or if you'd even like these, but they're "steampunk" boots for only $20.

Ya know, there's a lot of hate for them on here, but I like them.
I don't own any, but I would if I had more money to blow on shoes.
