Redyeing my hair with a mix of 1/2 tub of Manic Panic Hot Pink and 7 packets of Black Cherry Kool-Aid. My stepdad walks into the bathroom..
"It smells like a damn Jello factory in here!"
then..
"Can I have a lick?"
I love my stepdad :]

Someone said something about Batman and now I can't stop thinking about it. He has all the money in the world but chooses to combat crime in a poverty stricken city by dressing up in rubber and beating people up. Why not use his limitless funds to combat the socio-economic causes of crime?
What an asshole.

Because then he'd have to spend his own money while depleting his main form of recreation. He'd make himself obsolete. DC wouldn't have anything to write about.
A John Grisham graphic novel would be hella boring.
BTW, I heart your sig a lot.

I think that his real self, Bruce Wayne, does charitable fund raisers and things like that- it's important to appear philanthropic to keep the press on your side when you're such a high profile millionaire, after all.
The Batman persona is for dealing with stuff the cops are too stretched to handle or the stuff that's not even got a traceable socio-economic root- the Joker, for example, is a very charismatic and talented utter psychopath, and no amount of urban regeneration will fix him or prevent another like him, nor will it totally erase his ability to influence others- though it may reduce it. Similar can be said for many of the villains (admittedly, a community with less "normal" crime would mean less henchmen for the villains).
And he never really sorted out his issues with gun crime, fella's a bit nuts. Takes violent crime rather personally.

I love going home and going to big family gatherings (especially our annual crab feast) but it is rather nice to be curled up on my own couch.

I found some really funny things written in my diary back when I was 8.

I will call your bluff. I'd prefer bitch over idiot, but I'm thinking you're just going to say something stupid. Again.

Tally Ho? I haven't been in ages but I am rather glad that it is back to acting like a local theater as it really wasn't for a while.

I just got an offer of a job (unpaid at the moment but it will become paid soon) doing something I really really want to do. I am so happy right now!

Yup.. I was hoping they'd be doing a RPHS show, but hey.. Night Of The Living Dead (original!) will do JUST fine.
