Fashion DIY tips and gratuitous plugs. And hair. Hair! Flow it, show it. Wait...no. That's some hippie musical. Nevermind. |

I kinda like the vest, even though I probably wouldn't have put that many studs in it . =)

I am working on making pretty lace glovies. Right now I have a prototype going Once I'm happy with how the tester fits I will fearfully cut into the small amount of lace I have to do this with.

Ooh, my heart always stops for half a second when I make that first cut into fabric, certainly when I have no room for mistakes, but even moreso when it's yards and yards of something I have fallen in love with. Weird. I just start cutting and try to remember to breathe.
This isn't a great shot, but here is the latest full outfit I made. I made a skirt today, but no pics yet.

And another question: Where did you buy those badges from and how much did you pay? (Batcave Benders will be UK-based soon, I need to know our competitors!)

I can't wait until I'm able to wear dangley earrings again, I stretched my ears and so I pierced my second holes, but they're still healing. Earrings are so pretty!! I miss them...

Thanks : ) *blush* Yeah, I did make it all. And I'm like you, I can't get enough of earrings and other metal bits through any available soft parts. Poking holes is a fun DIY project itself! How long will you wait before you wear earrings again?
I really love your stuff, Jack! Looks fantastic.

Ehh, probably another week or two, I need to acquire some 18/16 gauge steel earrings because I am slightly allergic to whatever is in cheapo earrings. But I can wear them for short periods of time.

I've often wondered how it'd look with dangly earrings on the second hole next to the stretched ones.
You could always get those swirly bits that go in your holes and fit your gauge.

Like that except prettier and not of wood if that's not what you're into. They have lovely glass ones, acrylic, whatever. Some of them are gorgeous.
I mean, if you're real intent on dangly earrings.
