Um ... I guess that's my problem. I don't see it being a wide gap between the ugly underbelly and the other end, whatever that may be.
Of course, I don't expect many people to be sympathetic to my fetishes either, but I don't spend a lot of time publicizing them.

hey when i started this i knew i was gonna get hell granted all i wanted to do is share a culture i thought a few might find interesting at the time i didnt really see the sexual side of the fandom, now i do and am creeped out by it but meh worse has happened.

I so don't relate to this that I really don't have an answer. The idea of putting any kind of fur thing on me (costume, suit, skin, whatever) makes me think I would be too hot and itchy, like wearing a wool sweater. I just don't dig that.

Funny near-irrelevant note: Tom Selleck and Alex Trebek (from the TV game show Jeopardy!) are the only people I know that I thought looked better with a mustache than without.
To fix the near irrelevancy, I will now relate that to the best of my knowledge neither one of them is a furry or have ever expressed an interest in being a furry.
James, if you had asked me what cartoon character I would most like to be (leaving out superheroes for the moment), I like Mir's previous mention of Top Cat ... cause he had the best dramatic lines ever. I also like Danger Mouse, because his adventures were just goofy fun. But it really has nothing to do with the fact that their furry. It just happens that most cartoon characters that I liked as a kid happen to be furry.
