Yeah, less than a hundred years ago. Unless you meant since the year 2000, which is silly, its only been ten years.

39. This is the song that doesn't end
yes it goes on and on my friend
some people started singing it
not knowing what it was,
and they'll continue singing it
forever just because....

That's exactly what I meant. By "this century" I meant the 21st century.

Sorry. Testosterone is peaking. Did you know men have monthly sexual cycles too? Anyway, when it does my cerebrum tends to be dominated by hormones.

. . . I dunno on that one, Saya. The comment struck me more as 'unless it's meant to be decorative instead of suppressive' or something along those lines. And I giggled when I saw it.

Also: Tan carpets. I can't stand cream/tan/brown colors.

Since he mentioned testosterone I would take away from it that he meant "unless its sexy to men." Also, I do know women who very willingly wearing the hijab or burka as a statement of anti-consumerism. Nobody, not extremists who demand women wear the burka, or feminists who view the burka as always oppressive should really tell a woman what to wear, its her choice. So it was both the "burkas should not be worn" and the "burkas should only be worn to cater to the male gaze." that I object to.

Well, keep in mind that he likely meant no harm. I could easily have said the same thing. I was more bothered by 'Republicans', because it struck me slightly as 'people who don't think the same way I do', but I decided not to say anything because, as before, I assumed he meant no offense.

But maybe he did. I don't know. I don't quite know people too well on here yet.

Man, I really want to be able to send private messages.

Since this is a countdown to 101 things, and the only way we're gonna know if we hit 101 is if we count, I really gotta say that the last legitimate entry here was Says #39.

So that makes this ...

40) The wheels on the bus go round and round, round and round, round and round ...

Arrrrrrggggggghhhhhhhhh!

51. The creator of the Twilight Series, Stephanie Meyer. Firstly, because she has never seen a vampire film or read a vampire book, but somehow thinks she can write a book based on 'vampires', and secondly because she is a mormon.
