Well Rylee....... before I'm dead , I'd just take the time to welcome you to Gothic.net.
I'm still pretty new here myself, but a word of advice - here be dragons, so make sure you always pack a rocket launcher. Oh, and a flame-retardant vest.
Translation: Be prepared for smug elitist assholes. This is coming from a guy that still has a semblance of decency online and a "give 'em the benefit of the doubt" attitude.
Seriously.

Quit your bitcing. Yes, the above is true. However, we only (usually) get on people who post stupid shit. Like the "woe is me, I live in a tiny town" crap that we get every other month.
So far, Rylee has been pretty cool.
Hey chick, if you live in southern IN, you should try to make it to one of Louisville's all-ages goth nights. They're pretty spiffy.

I tend to agree with Ophie, I have heard of some that are supposedly good but I have yet to experience any that actually are.

^ What?
Anyways, I've been to some good places that are all ages. Saw a show at this tiny place in Hollywood called The Smell-it was fun, and I don't remember them asking for my id.

MacabreHellGrave, i appreciate the Kidneythieves pun of Before I'm Dead that's one of my favorite songs ^_^ however it sort of was spoiled by the Queen of The Damned movie. They really didn't do justice to the books.

Yeah, the movie doesn't follow the book at all. I mean, where's the story of Baby Jenks? :P

Reading a lot is not an excuse for not having a favorite author. In fact actually reading a lot should crystallize your tastes enough to be able to pinpoint those you consider the best.

Save you some time, girl-you love HG Wells, Neil Gaiman, Jack Kerouac, Sylvia Plath, Chuck Palahniuk, Phillip K. Dick, Dean Koontz and William S. Burroughs.
Just to name a few. Cool with that?
