Kickin' It Old School...

Hey Gnet, I've been letting my hair grow out, and now the top layer is just long enough that I can probably get it into that old school goth Robert Smith, "messy-looking-but-took-all-morning-to-prepare" look. The question is, how would I go about doing this?

I'm thinking I just get a can of hair spray, and basically do what it shows in this video...

But I suspect it is more complicated.

She is so funny! I love it! She pulls off a damn good Fat Bob.

What she's doing in that vid is pretty much it. Do that and practice it a lot. And don't deep condition your hair before you do it like a putz(me!). It fell flat within 15 minutes after spending an hour and a half teasing the shit out of it.

You could also crimp it, but I don't know if that actually helps or not. It is a bunch of extra work.
