I never used to believe in evil, not really.
Then a dear friend of mine revealed that in his country of origin, he'd been arrested without trial and tortured because he's indigenous.
That opened my eyes. Now I see that evil exists - in my mind, at least.
Does anybody ever do something knowing in their own heads that it's evil? Absolutely. That'll convince me every time.
Of course there are a zillion shades of grey. But not what they did to my friend... and the millions of other creatures who suffer at the hands of those with power. That's so wrong it makes my head spin.
