R.I.P Mab

My hamster is dead I went to her cage tonight and she was lying in her bed curled up dead. She was old. 3 years old. She was such a sweet little thing, never ever bit me or anyone else and she loved a bit of grape and a little lick of cold yoghurt in hot weather. I'm really going to miss her a lot, I don't think I'll have another for quite some time. Goodbye little Mab

Awww, sorry to hear it honeythorn. At least she died in her sleep at home, a fate I will be thankful for if I am lucky enough to pass that way.

That's a shame.

And it seems she did live a long time.
You must've taken good care of her.

Thanks. Yes she was a bit spoiled . And she loved to wheel about in her ball. Never did like the wheel in her cage at all.

I am sorry to hear that. I feel your pain. It's hard to loose our little furry friends. Three years, from what I understand, is actually on the old side for a hamster. So you got lucky with having him as long as you did. I hope you feel better soon. <3

She lived a long, long and seriously spoiled life. All rodents should have it so good. I am grateful to you that she lived so well, and I am sorry for you that she is gone.

I'm sorry to hear that your hamster has passed, at least you were able to spoil her for three years

Thanks guys. I've put the cage in the attic. I couldn't bear to see it lying there empty.

Sorry about that. At least you provided her with a great life and she got to live a very happy life in safety and warm cozy place and leave painlessly in her sleep while she's happy and cozy. That's a lot more than what can be say for many out there.
