If you were to make a Gothy Western compilation...

...which Fields of the Nephilim song would you put on it?

It's an idea that I've been kicking around for a while.

Hmm probably Preacher Man. It's one of their most "Western" sounding ones.

But to be honest I'd have quite a bit of Theatre of Hate on there as well.

And there would have to be Red Right Hand by Nick Cave. I'd work that in somehow.

I second "Preacher Man". I'd also recommend the band Coffinshakers.

I'm between "Preacher Man" and "Power."

"Red Right Hand" is on my list for sure. I'll have to check out Theatre of Hate and Coffinshakers.

Here's my list so far, a number of the artists aren't Goth:

Juno Reactor - Pistolero
Specimen - Sharp Teeth Pretty Teeth
Nick Cave & the Bad Seeds - Red Right Hand
Cowboy Bebop OST - Digging My Potato
Siouxsie and the Banshees - Burn Up
Christian Death - Androgynous Noise Hand Permeates
Muse - Knights of Cydonia
Einsturzende Neubauten - Morning Dew
Alien Sex Fiend - I Walk the Line
Masaru Sato - Yojimbo Theme
Snog - The Ballad
The Sisters of Mercy - Detonation Boulevard
Tom Waits - Black Wings

"They'll never take me alive" by Spear of Destiny would also fit in rather well, I think.

This compilation would not be complete without "King-Hell" by Ausgang. The compilation should open with it, in fact. Haha.

Not sure if you guys know this, but "Preacher Man" is a pretty old song that was recorded first by Dusty Springfield in '68.
