Stay AWAY from Encyclopedia Dramatica...
I've linked them twice I think (I'd delete the links, but I can't edit posts)...Anyway, I just contracted a rather nasty virus from some script running in the background on one page. Didn't click on anything, and didn't DL anything, damn thing just jumped into my system on it's own.
Anyway, Avast! managed to kill it before it became dangerous, but without adequate protection that thing could really fuck up your system.

I find a lot of the articles on there to be quite amusing, but the amount of weird porn, hentai, and goatse on there along with potential viruses keeps me from being on there much, if at all.

I linked to ED? Ive been hanging out in /v/ and /ck/ since forever but the memes I was using came mostly from being in wow off topic. /B/ is pretty much mostly crap now as well.

If I ever linked ED it was from finding a specific picture from other sources such as the ones I said. Which isn't much an improvement but the point stands that I was never a frequent viewer of ED.

I found out the hard way not to go to ED.
I go on, trying to find a good way to explain IMMA FIRIN MAH LAZOR to someone, and all of a sudden, my computer crashes, and gets loaded with some nasty shit.
I ran Norton twice, and I ran AOL Spyware Protection...I think I got rid of all the viruses...
