OhGr Live

Awesome show. Has a greatly twisted "What the hell am I looking at" quality. Very twisted.

First link is high quality. If you don't have quicktime click the second link.

Some more great clips. All songs from Devils in my Details. An incredibly unorthodox and original album.

Skinny Puppy live are epic. The Mythrus tour DESTROYED ALL.

The new OhGr album reminds me of older SP stuff like Cleanse Fold and Manipulate. It's very experimental and the whole album flows together like one huge song. Definitely check it out.

It was great seeing Ogre act in that movie. It was right up his alley. Cheesey, drug infested and flat out offensive.

Completely different platform. SP and OhGr make for a much more personal and artistic event. Gwar are more like a mock rock band.

Also, Skinny Puppy has been around since '82 and still have a huge underground following. Gwar hardly make radar when it comes to their music.

Case in point:

I have to agree with you that OhGr is vastly different from GWAR. And again that GWAR has declined in popularity and their following. They still throw a badass show though and I'm excited to be seeing them again so soon (Dec 20th).

I was only able to watch the first ten minutes of the backwards man routine (first vid).. which I have to say was very interesting and entertaining. I'll check out the rest of the show when I have the time to sit down and do so.

You had better finish that sentence felreaper. Lest he finish it for you with something derogatory and think himself clever for doing so.

Yar tho! OhGr is fantastic! I can't wait till D-Sides comes out. Supposedly they had over 70 minutes of music left over when they were done editing DIMD and are planning to release it all early next year.

I'll be there.
I like GWAR, but Skinny Puppy and ohGr kick GWAR's ass any day.
