Talking Favourite mainstream band

Listening to some mainstream bands both with goth bands doesn't make you less gothic...
So pick one that you like the most

Like I've said before, I've been with AFI for a long time, and I'll support 'em til the end unless they do something REALLY ridiculous.

AFI has my vote.

My Chemical Romance, it kept me from publicly, verbally tearing a girl apart, I'd still be persona non grata with over half my current friends if I had. Anyway she doesn't bug me anymore, that, and she said she'd put in a good word for me for the next play she is in's pit orchestra.

Regardless of what anyone says, Marilyn Manson will always be one of my favorite artists.

I love half of Korn's songs, and that's much for a band with so many songs.
Twisted Transistor is simply funny.

It was a difficult decision.
But, I had to choose Dimmu Borgir over AFI.
I terribly dislike AFI's new stuff, whereas I like almost all of Dimmu's stuff. Man, I haven't listened to them in ages. . . I should get to it.

I had to pick Evanescence, because "Haunted" from the "Fallen" CD is so Lacuna Coil-ish and wickedly good. But I don't like "My Immortal".

Out of your list, I had to pick Marilyn Manson. Mainstream or not, they're Gods.

I picked Korn because they got interesting, political, and even danceable on "See You On the Other Side".

AFI are friends. I was a runner at a studio they recorded Sing The Sorrow at and hung out with them on several occasions. I absolutely love everything they've done up to their last record, which is really not my style.

(And when I say not mallgoths, I imply people more of the pop-punk nature or worse.)

I must be kind of out of touch... I wasn't even aware of The Rasmus, much less aware that they were mainstream.

I used to love AFI. But their new stuff sucks. I like Evanescence though. So they have my vote I guess.

I quite like My Chemical Romance. I haven't had the chance to hear their new cd though.

My vote has to be Slipknot, of course. I will always be their biggest fan, and a true fan. I dont care how mainstream they become. I liked them before they got soft, before they were mainstream. Once a fan always a fan. I just got a new Slipknot hoodie for Christmas!

AFI, Slipknot ( there's still a bit of the maggot left in me yet!!) as they were the first alternative band I ever heard and I have a lot to thank them for. And * don't kill me* HIM ( I am in thrall to the charms of Mr Valo).

I voted for AFI as they are my favourite of the three.

Cradle of Filth. The sound produced from his vocal cords is amazing and weird. But the music lulls me to sleep quite easily. Especially that from Nymphetamine.

I also like Dimmu but i had to vote for COF.

AFI, earlier work is really good. I can also listen to Cradle sometimes, but only like 2 songs (Better To Reign In Hell, Nymphetamine Fix).
