A love poem.
That I wrote for my beau.
A Smash of Stellar Proportions
When you scream,
my throat burns
And you can run until
my legs collapse
or the sinew snaps
Our hair smells the same now and our
Our nails
Our nails are made of the same ceramic
When you cry,
my face itches
Someday soon-
(or maybe it already happened)
We should just slamcrack into each other
When our faces collide
It’ll be like a
Like a supernova
Just a simple little thing I fell in love with. Then I wrote this poem for him, hahaha.

The Shower? That sounds more like something from a High Society magazine with some of the pages stuck together than poetry. Guh-ross! I know, I am so immature.

That's why I love Bukowski. He's real and honest. Brutal and blunt. There's great beauty in that despite the fact it's not romantic in the traditonal sense. I enjoyed this poem. Thank you.

It was something along the lines of "Not everyone could pull this off" and then something else about not "don't ask, you'll ruin it".
